Thor leaves his office and wanders the halls of his house aimlessly with an almost desperate air about him. He was restless considering what he was remembering and yet he knew that in the end it would pay of for him. He need something to do and well he would find it soon.
As he wanders the halls of his house he hears the ringing chime of his door bell and smiles slightly as he heads to the front door. With a quick grab at the handle he pulls the door open with a tug and looks out at his guests.
His guests turn out to be a slightly elder balding gently name with a strong bearing and the air of a reporter. At his side is a camera man who looked like he would have been more at home out on a football field.
Thor takes a deep breath and then smiles showing his fangs as he lets the breath whistle out of his mouth. "Can I help you?"
The reporter looks at Thor with a look the showed he was starting to maybe regret accepting this assignment and nods slowly. "Actually yes you can Mr. Thor. I am Harry Kingston of Wrestler's Life magazine. I have been sent to get an interview with you."
"Come on in Mr. Kingston. Tell me more about the type of interview you want." Smiles as Harry and the camera man enter the house. Once they are in side Thor closes the front door with a gentle click. He leads them to back to his office slowly.
The camera man pans his camera over the walls and floors as they walk down the hall following Thor with the practiced ease of a man long used to his work.
Harry lets his eyes wander over the ornate tapestries on the walls as they pass them falling Thor. He was pleased to see that his camera man was catching the whole thing without having to be told.
Thor smiles and enters the offices and then moves to sit in his chair behind his read wood desk as he waves for Harry to sit in the chair on the other side. "Well Mister Kingston shall we begin?"
He sits down and nods slowly as he clears his throat quietly. "Well Thor I know that there are many people who are wondering about this. Are your horns and fangs real?
He chuckles softly and leans back in his chair as the tip of his tongue licks his fangs. "Yes Harry these are very real. They will be explained in the autobiography I am writing in my spare time."
Blinks at the news of an autobiography."When can we expect to see you completed autobiography?"
"Well Some time in the next year. I am still in the middle of writing it which is somewhat unique challenge."
"I can imagine how that can be. Now I have a few questions about this weekend's match at Fool's Revenge. First off what do you think of your opponent Methodcobra?"
Leans back a bit further with a thoughtful expression on his face."Well he made a very impressive debut last week on Side Effecteven though he lost his match. He appears to be a competent in ring wrestler and in this business that is all matters. So in other words I am looking forward to my match against him. I see it as a chance to test just how good I am in the ring."
"Sounds like a good idea. Also sounds like you aren't going to get cocky or over confident heading into this match."
"No Harry I am not considering this is for a chance to fight for the newly created XVI NextGen Title."
"That is quite an honor isn't it? Thor what are you thoughts on the six man tournament that has been set up for the chance at a spot in a NextGen Title Triple Threat match?
"Well Harry in all honesty holding any Title is an honor. As to the tournament I think it is a rather intriguing idea. I mean simply having to go two matches in a row for the winners of the singles matches will mean those of in those matches will have to play it smart as well as hard."
Looks at Thor with a confused expression on his face. "What do you mean Thor?"
Chuckles and leans forward looking at Harry and then the camera man with a an amused smile. "Harry it is quite simple really for the winners of the singles matches it is only half the battle. You see the Title match is a triple threat ladder match." Stops to see if this information will cause a reaction from Harry.
Nods slightly as he tries to figure out what exact Thor was trying to get at. Of course he knew about ladder matches yet not like this. "Can you explain that Thor?"
"I sure can. It is as simple as this Harry. A normal ladder match is an awesome brutal affair. Now add in a title for the winner to the match and that adds a lot of motivation to win. But this Sunday at Fool's Revenge we have a such a match AFTER the three combatants have to fight through a qualifying singles match.
This means that the six of involved in the NextGen Title tournament have to not only give it our best BUT we have to also hold back enough to give it our best in second match."
Nods slowly in understanding "I get it now. And you are right about that. You will have to be sure you can compete in the match that matters. Now what are your thought on the other participants in the NextGen Title hunt?"
"Honestly Harry this is a very talented group of men. I have already voiced my thoughts on Methodcobra so I will start with Ritalin. What can I say about him? He is the current Xtreme Title holder's tag team partner. In the ring he gives it his all and will be a challenge in his own right.
Jake Xavier is a talented opponent that is working with Jordon Glass. I look forward to facing him for the NextGen Title.
Versage Flames another man who has the talent to go places in this company. He fights his hardest when in the ring and that makes him a prime challenger for the NextGen Title.
And last but not least is the loose cannon Johnny Kaos. He is skilled But he still has a LOT to learn about the craft. He has won against Methodcobra last week so he is going to be sure to be an interesting opponent. Knowing him he will have something planned for Fool's Revenge."
"An interesting survey of the NextGen Title Division Thor. Now who do you think will be first ever NextGen Champion?"
Smiles an sits back in his chair with his shoulders squared. "Harry when the dust settles and the blood stops flowing. When the bell rings to signify that the ladder has been climbed and the Title unhooked. It will be me who has his name ring through the arena as the first ever NextGen Champion."
"You seem to be very confident about that Thor you sure you aren't being overly so?"
"I know it won't be a walk in the park but I will be going out there with a new focus and a goal in my mind. I will have a mission that nothing will prevent me from completing. You see I am going out there to fight for a Title and I will leave the arena with my goal reach and my mission completed."
Sits a moment and tries to think of something else to ask and then gets up with a nod to the camera man. "Well Thor I will let you get back to preparing for your match at Fool's Revenge. We will show ourselves out and thank you for you time."
Nods thoughtfully and watches the two exit the room and then his house with a faint smile on his lips as he to face the rest of his memories.
