James sat down infront of the camera crew and leaned back in the couch at his house. Everything was still being set up. Seems like they were going over a few choice questions and actually reading responses that he was to give. He blinked a bit and grabbed the papers before ripping them up. The crew stared stupidly at him before he spoke.
The person interviewing him nodded a bit after swallowing the lump in his throat. He sat down and a man off the side began counting down the time until they were recording. He gave the signal and the reporter began speaking. When the show came on later tonight this is what the people would see.
James looked at the reporter and nodded slightly to him before he began to speak.
James:"So far from what I can tell they have installations here, here and here.. now if we come around in a split path.. basically we're going to have to go in two teams, we'll flank them and come in from two sides. I'll cause some confusion first with some sniper fire then you two will sneak in and flush them out from the back and get them into the open so we can take them out. If you can capture anyone then do so. The two teams will be Alpha and Bravo. Move out!"
James:"David what was the first thing our instructor taught us about downed opponents?"
David & James:"Always make sure you're opponent is dead before you celebrate."
The reporter blinked slightly as the screen faded back to them momentarily.
Jakob:"My that's interesting... did all the team members survive?"
The camera showed the report blushing a deep red and looking down before fading back into the story Hunter was telling.
One:"This base has been taken over by the US military. Drop all your weapons and you will not be harmed... much."
Jakob nodded, perhaps the two had died. Well he wouldn't press the issue as he spoke into the camera.
Jakob nodded before making the cut off motion to the camera man. He shut down the equipment and thanked James for his time before they left. James rubbed his eyes and stared down silently at a glass.
He slammed his fist into the counter before sighing once more, before he began to cry. They weren't heaving sobs, just tears that streamed down his face. Cory and Jeff.. he'd known them since he was eight. He shook his head and turned walking to bed and closing the door to lay down.
James:
"If you're going to interview me, interview me but don't fuckin expect me to say the bullshit that papers hold. I'm not some goddamn word program. Now... on with the interview."The person interviewing him nodded a bit after swallowing the lump in his throat. He sat down and a man off the side began counting down the time until they were recording. He gave the signal and the reporter began speaking. When the show came on later tonight this is what the people would see.
Reporter:
"Jakob Robinson reporting for XVI, and i'm sitting here with former UFC Heavyweight champion and Former U.S. Navy SEAL, Liutenant James Hunter. Mr. Hunter how are you today?"James looked at the reporter and nodded slightly to him before he began to speak.
James:
"Just fine today Jakob."Jackob:
"So James it seems like you lead quite the life... how about you tell us a little about a mission you were on?"James:
"Ehh sure why not... Well I remember one mission-"The screen would fade when the audience would watch and then fade back in showing a group of men standing around in a circle. Two of them were loaded with you're typical SEAL load out; Heckler & Kouch MP5, Colt .45 and the M203 Grenade Launcher. One was loaded with the M4 Light Machine gun with a Forward handgrip, QD Sound Supressor that would decrease the sound of gunfire down 30 dB's and reduce muzzle flash as well, ACOG Scope with a 600m range, AN-PEQ-2 IR laser with a 600m range. A Heckler & Kouch P92 Handgun and finally, a M97 Grenade launcher that allows a SEAL to land a grenade within a 380 yard range.
The last soldier stood checking over a map. He had Liutenant bars and held a redlight to keep it from being seen from the iraq's. On him he had a M16 Automatic Rifle, Smith & Wesson .357 Revolver and a M82A1 Barret 50 Caliber Sniper rifle. As he turned, his nickname was seen rather than his real name Vers. He leaned against the wall and tapped the papers against his forearm as he though. One of the soldiers turned to him.

Bravo 1
:"Sir.. do you have a plan?"James blinked and looked up tilting his head as he listened to his soldier. He frowned and though for a moment before looking back at the map before setting it down on the table and shining the flashlight on it.
James:"So far from what I can tell they have installations here, here and here.. now if we come around in a split path.. basically we're going to have to go in two teams, we'll flank them and come in from two sides. They all saluted him and two of them ran off out of the door and to the left. James looked to the last soldier with him and took a breath, slowly letting it out and nodding to him. They both grabbed their extra equipment and made their way down the right path. It only then occured to James the coincidental situation in which that damn little building was there. It worried him silghtly and he motioned David off to the side. They both hid down in some brush and he pulled out a pair of NVG, this was a dead, middle of the night mission and it was dark as hell out here without some kind of light. He motioned to David to do the same and as soon as he turned on his he saw exactly what he thought he'd see. Five or six enemy soldiers waited on the road for them.
James with held the curse he wanted to say but didn't. Bravo team had come up with the same problem but they were sneaking their way slowly along the side of the road. Obviously the soldiers didn't have any type of nightvision. The Bravo leader hesitated and glanced around before seeing the light fixtures then the wire right infront of his foot that he was about to trip. He followed it to not only a light switch but a claymore mine. He blinked and leaned down to check it out before slowly stepping over the wire and making his way behind two of the soldiers. He pulled out his knife, as did Bravo two and they began to silently slice the throats of the soldiers. They made no sound as they died, no sound but the soft drip of blood every couple of seconds before Bravo had the next set of men down until none remained on the road. They whiped the blood off their blades by using the fallen enemies shirts before moving on.
James shifted in spot quietly and didn't see any light fixtures. He looked back to David and shook his head. David picked up his granade launcher and loaded a round and prepaired to fire but James placed his hand over the hole and shook his head, bringing his finger to his lips as a motion of silence. They began to creep their way on the side of the road. He'd managed to find a couple of claymores on the road, same tactic but no light switch. Seems like this group was going to go by explosions to find their enemies.. so that's what James would give them. He grabbed the claymore and held the wire, before backing off to a safe distance and tugging on it, the claymore exploded and nearly instantly he heard the tat tat of gunfire from the enemy soldiers. Just as he'd thought. As soon as the fire stopped he heard the cry of approval from the soldiers in the arabic language. Most of them applauding each other and sayin good job and the likes. James smirked at David who did the same before he finally launched the granade at the tightly packed group. It exploded and took them out in one shot.

James:"David what was the first thing our instructor taught us about downed opponents?"
David & James:"Always make sure you're opponent is dead before you celebrate."
They grinned at each other and made their way silently along the pathway before they came to a decent sized complex. They had found a few mines and claymores on the way but David was able to deal with those without problem.
James pulled out his sniper rifle and set up the bipods before laying on his stomach and adjusting the scope, he switched it to infrared and glanced through it. He first observed the guards. they were at least a mile away. He placed his finger over the trigger and after ten minuts of watching their routes, took a shot at one of the soldiers. The bullet reached the soldier before the crack of the rifle did. The soldier fell to the ground without a head and the other began to run around in confusion. He just caught the small movement out of the corner of the scope and watched as Bravo made their way to the back.
Bravo Team turned the corner of a building. Only to need to duck back as a soldier ran past quickly. Bravo two grabbed him and drew his knife acrossed his throat, killing the soldier quickly and dropping his body into a crate and placing a lit on it. On the side the container said "Fragile, Handle with care." Two tilted his head slightly and his shoulder shook from silent amusement at the words before he slid back behind One and nodded.
One Rounded the corner and slowly opened the nearby door to look in, there was a soldier running down the hall toward them. Before the soldier could cry out intruder, One fired and took him out quietly with his surpressed rifle. One slipped in as Two watch their backs and came in a second later. He silently shut the door before tapping One's back to signal him all clear. They disabled the lights and turned on their night vision. Now the whole base was buzzing with confusion. One heard, very faintly, the sound of rifle fire outside, and then much much louder cracks of a sniper. Seems like the Liutenant was doing his job and raising as much hell as he could before coming down. Two took point and came to a door before looking in and raising up his fist, One stopped. Two paused for a moment before holding up four fingers, and then pointed to his eyes then to the door before motioning One over to the other side of the door. One did so and pressed his back to the wall as Two pulled out a grenade and pulled the pin. He didn't flick the fuse off as he made sure his count was good before flicking it off and throwing it inside. He pressed his back against the wall and a second later an explosion was heard before One rushed in and fired, as well as Two. They put two rounds into the chests of the men and two into their skulls just to make sure.
James and David made their way to the camp after another five minutes of sniper fire to confuse the soldiers of the base. James glanced around at the gates before motioning David ahead of him. Just as they got in the power to the base went out and he grinned a bit. Seems like Bravo knew what to do and he appreciated his team for doing what they do best.
Stopping by a crate he looked to David and switched to his M16 and checked the clip. He tapped it on the side of his knee and heard the thunk thunk of a full clip. He slammed it back in and chambered a round. Looking to David once more he saw he was ready as well. He nodded and they jumped over the crates and began to fire at any of the nearby men. Both of them hit their marks perfectly with the three round bursts.
Bravo had gained entrance by that time, to the main command center. Two looked in and glanced about before signaling to One to move in. One slipped in quietly, the place was in a ruckus so no one knew that the two had slipped in. One went right and Two went left. Rather than killing them though, they knocked each one out and suddenly they were noticed by a few of the men who pulled out AK's and began to fire. Both members dropped behind some equipment to take cover. One had gotten shot in the leg but was completely calm about it as he began to wrap it up. Two smirked behind his mask, none of the men on this team really ever were surprised when they were hit. He remembered when James got shot in the shoulder. Rather than piss and moan. Lt. Hunter switched his gun to his other shoulder and continued to fight as One had patched him up. Two looked around the corner and fired a few rounds, taking one of the soldiers down before he noticed a soldier coming up on One and ready to fire. He himself was going to fire until he saw that One actually had his pistol out. As it turned out when One told him, he knew he was coming and was waiting. So as soon as the soldier got to him he fired two shots into his head and dropped him. Once more Two couldn't help but grin about it as he fired once more and took the last man down. He walked over casually to One and asked if he was okay. One nodded and gave him a thumbs up. He walked over and spoke into the comm.

James glanced at David who had gone prone and was firing his rifle off. He turned just in time to see the gun pointed at him and ducked. As he fell he heard a bullet zip past his ear and he fired two shots to take the soldier out. He felt a stabbing pain in his leg and looked back to see blood coming from it. He fired at the enemy officer before speaking.
James:
"you damn cockmuncher.. those were my best pair."David barely held back laughter at his words but kept fireing before he heard One speak over the mic.
One:"This base has been taken over by the US military. Drop all your weapons and you will not be harmed... much."
James watched as the soldiers began to drop their weapons and put their hands up. He laughed quietly to himself
at One's words before he stood up and him and David began to move the defeated men into the brig and locking them up.

End flashback
James:
"And.. thats... about how that mission went.. Bravo One had to get airlifted soon after because of the wound but he was back a couple week's later."Jakob:
"I must ask you here Mr. Hunter.. why um..have you not mentioned Bravo's names?"James:
"I have my reason, reasons that are unimportant to you so do not ask again... please."Jakob nodded, perhaps the two had died. Well he wouldn't press the issue as he spoke into the camera.
Jakob:
"Well that was quite the interesting mission by the former Lt of the Navy SEALS. Is there anything else you wish to say Liutenant?"James:
"Ya... well it's about the new XVI Belt... and my match with Kraos. The belt... well I'm hopin I'll win it. No guarantee really since there's other good fighters in there. As for Kraos? Well if he want's my respect he can stop being such a whiny little bitch and get over his little cocky attitude. Then maybe i'll give him a little more respect. Until then he's still a little cunt who needs to go through basic to streighten out his act. Other than that the matches are goin to be hard as fuck and i'm ready for them. Dispite the injury i suffered last week. I've had worse so I'll be good."Jakob nodded before making the cut off motion to the camera man. He shut down the equipment and thanked James for his time before they left. James rubbed his eyes and stared down silently at a glass.
James:
"Jeff..... Cory... I'm sorry I couldn't save you two... you were the best men from the military I knew. I did what you asked.. I kept your names away from the public and respect your wishes. I should have never sent you on that mission... I should have looked at the odds better.. but you two were so goddamn stubborn.:He slammed his fist into the counter before sighing once more, before he began to cry. They weren't heaving sobs, just tears that streamed down his face. Cory and Jeff.. he'd known them since he was eight. He shook his head and turned walking to bed and closing the door to lay down.
