Red and Gray pyros blast off around the ring. After going around the ring, the pyros follow up the entrance ramp and once at the top a huge explosion comes out from the pyros as they go up high up in the air.
Ed Set: Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to XVI Side Effect, a new era has now apparently begun; the formation of a group named Serafin rocked the King Of The Ring pay per view by leaving the boss Makaveli a bloody mess in the Jordan Glass vs. Makaveli match and “The New Era Icon” David Calaz claiming the King Of The Ring crown.
David Sierra: And lets not forget the other huge matches we saw, we had both of The Meds wiped out by a debuting Myst, Ticker retained his NextGen title by defeating Rachel and Szaban somehow overcame the odds and beat Jihad in a hell in a cell match.
Ed Set: A huge night which has seemed to have huge repercussions on tonight’s card, Calaz takes on Szaban, Thor takes on the other member of Serafin Jordan “Bullet Proof” Glass... we also have a NextGen title match between Ticker and Bryan Variety and then last but by no means least a number one contenders triple threat match for the NextGen title.
The show wastes no time as Makaveli's Against All Odds by 2Pac hits the PA. The crowd boo him as he walks down the ramp. He gets in the ring and grabs a microphone...
David Sierra: Oh, boy! What do you think the boss is thinking right now, Ed?
Ed Set: I have no idea.
The crowd dies down, and Makaveli raises the microphone and speaks...
Makaveli: Last week on King of the Ring we witnissed a lucky win for Matt Szaban.
The footage roles to last week's Pay Per View...
"Szaban is looking like a man possessed now, as Jihad attempts to crawl away from the action, while Szaban lifts up the VNB Legend once more, as Jihad seems to have suffered some sort of back injury, which would explain his helplessness, as Szaban delivers yet another devastating Bostard Drop! This time, causing the champion of champions to collapse on his fallen foe, and the referee administers the count once again.
One… Two… Three!!!"
The cameras role right back at Makaveli...
Makaveli: Fortuantely, Jihad was able to give him a well deserved beating.. However, Matt is still standing on his two feet tonight!
The crowd cheer...
Makaveli: That's exactly why he has a match against none other than David Calaz tonight to finish the job. As for Jihad.. The Unholy Union actually.. You two say you are worthy XVI Tag Champions? It's time to put that to the test.. because at The American Dream, it will be The Unholy Union in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match!
The crowd gasp..
David Sierra: Against who?!
Ed Set: The Meds?
David Sierra: The Meds are pussies, Ed!
Suddenly.. a liquid substance seems to be coming down from the ceiling towards the commentators and the crowd.
Ed Set: Ahh! It's.. It's..
David Sierra: It's vommit!!
The XVItrone springs into life. The first clip we see is back in EWW, where Jihad and other four members of the VNB are laid unconscience with two men standing above them. Then it's the WCXF where the DoA is double pinned by the same two men. Then darkness. The cameras roll again. We see three people with their backs turned, spray painting what seems to be a limo. The camera walks back and it's the VNB's limo with graffiti! The man in the middle turns and takes off off his hood. It's Bozo the Gay Clown!-
Bozo: We're baack!
The other two turn around and it's revealed to be Pig Vomit! They step foward, the camera seeing all the graffiti they polluted on the limo.
Bozo: Did you miss us? It's been so long since we kicked ass.. Did you like our present? It isn't the first time you guys had a vomit shower. Now We've came to get those titles! We want those titles! And I want Jihad! I want Jihad!
Metallic Dragon: Dark HalO, Jihad Sullivan, this is your warning. Drop your titles now and you won't get hurt again.
Static.

David Sierra: Wow! What a surprise!
Ed Set: Pig Vomit?! In XVI?!
David Sierra: Damn right!
Ed Set: Let's get ready for our first match of the night, now...
Eric Cabrera is standing in the center of the ring awaiting the next match.
Eric Cabrera: Ladies and Gentlemen, this match is an elimination triple threat match, when one participant is pinned counted out or they submit they will no longer be eligible to win the match. Introducing first from Hollywood California... Dustin Reeves!
Can you feel that? Oh shit
The arena goes silent as the blue lights come on and then begin to flash slowly as the drums from the beginning of Disturbed’s “The Sickness” are heard coming over the PS system. Then the lights begin to pick up in the intensity of the flashes and the rapidness of them rises along with the riffs of the guitar.
Ooh ah ah ah ah! Ooh ah ah ah ah!
The main riffs from the song hit the PA system in a defining roar that makes the very ground sway. The crowd begins to boo as the song continues on and the voice of Disturbed’s lead singer bursts over the loudspeakers.
Drowning deep in my sea of loathing Broken your servant I kneel Will you give in to me? It seems what's left of my human side Is slowly changing ... in me Will you give in to me?
Suddenly out of the top most part of the ramp a platform begins to rise; the blue flashing lights come to a stop and then fade back to regular. Fog emerges from under the rising platform, a man is seen emerging from the smoke as the guitar’s riffs filter over the PA system in all their glory. Suddenly a set of gold pyrotechnics are set off in front of the platform, and as the effects die out the man lurches forward emerging from the fog. It is “The Superstar” Dario Reigns, he begins to walk down the ramp towards the ring wearing his wrestling attire which consists of, tights and a white tank top that shows off his lean and cut body.
Looking at my own reflection When suddenly it changes Violently it changes Oh no, There is no turning back now You've woken up the demon ... in me
Taunting the fans as he goes; Reigns walks towards the ring down the ramp and flips off a few fans on the way down. Getting to the ring he takes a look around the arena and shakes his head before walking over to the steel steps. His white custom chucks connect with the steel as he climbs up them and then leans against the turnbuckle while standing on the top of them. He taunts the fans once more before he turns his back on them and enters the ring.
Get up, come on get down with the sickness Get up, come on get down with the sickness Get up, come on get down with the sickness Open up your hate, and let it flow into me Get up, come on get down with the sickness You mother get up Come on get down with the sickness You fucker get up Come on get down with the sickness Madness is the gift, that has been given to me
Once inside the ring Dario Reigns climbs a turnbuckle and taunts the fans some more their boos echoing throughout the arena. Reigns seems to ignore them and goes to the centre of the ring where he falls to his knees and points towards the sky with one arm up. Behind him a shower of pyrotechnics ensues and then dies down with just as the music fades away. Dario gets up and paces around the ring waiting for the match to start.
Eric Cabrera: And his opponent, from The Bronx New York... Justin Evans!
As the sirens starts to go off, once the beat drops and huge explosion of pyrotechnics go off and Justin makes his way down to the ring. lights flashing, he slides into the ring and climbs each turnbuckle, playing off the fans energy.
Eric Cabrera: And finally from Orlando Florida... Rachel!
The arena lights dim and a blast of gold pyros go off all along the edges of the ramp. "Smack That" by Akon hits and the crowd (cheers or boos depending on match, I suppose). Rachel comes out from behind the curtain and stands atop the stage. She holds her head high, her nose in the air, as if to say, "The best has finally arrived." She stands at the top of the ramp for a moment, surveying the crowd, before heading down with an arrogant stride. Rachel slips in between the ropes and circles the ring, staring at her opponents.
Ed Set: We’re about to get things kicked off here, let’s see how this goes...
David Sierra: An interesting way to kick off Side Effect lets get it going
The three circle each other for a second then Justin and Rachel plough forward taking Dustin down, they both pummel him hard on the mat they begin to stomp away on Dustin, they slowly lift him up and set him in the corner both taking shots at his chest. Justin looks to take a swing at Rachel but at the last minute pulls away and strikes another chop across the chest of Dustin. Dustin falls to the floor in agony, Justin drops the elbow Rachel almost stomps on Justin but she moves last second and stamps on Dustin.
Ed Set: This was supposed to be a triple threat match
David Sierra: Yeah but eliminating one guy leaves it one on one and a better chance of winning
Justin lifts up Dustin and puts him on his shoulders, he then slams him down with The Final Answer as Rachel climbs the turnbuckle hitting the vixen flip and covering Dustin... 1... 2... 3!
Eric Cabrera: Dustin Reeves has been eliminated
Ed Set: Now it’s down to two and although I don’t like how they did it I suppose it worked out well for em...
David Sierra: Course it did, these are calculated people they know all about odds and facts and figures and all that nonsense... Rachel and Justin circle each other before they both extend their hands and firmly shake, they lock up and Rachel gets the upper hand moving to the back and slamming Justin down onto his face amateur wrestling style, she spins around into a front headlock trying to wear Justin down. She carries on but Justin gets his second wind and works his way up, he whips Rachel off the ropes she bounces back and shoulder barges him to the floor, she runs to the ropes Justin stays down and she jumps over him, then she leapfrogs him. Justin swings a wild clothesline and misses then another and misses again, Rachel slides through the legs and as Justin turns around he is hit with a dropkick, the crowd go wild for what they just saw.
Ed Set: Wow, how fast was that almost hard to call there...
Rachel lifts up Justin who delivers a forearm to her stomach then one to her head, he bounces off the ropes jumps behind Rachel and hits a pump handle drop on Rachel, he moves into the cover... 1... 2... Kickout!
Rachel gets the shoulder up, Justin can’t believe it he tries to argue with the ref but Rachel gets up and pushes him toward the ropes, Dustin who still lies on the outside pulls the rope down causing Justin to go flying to the floor. Rachel walks to the ropes and argues with Dustin, he mouths back and Rachel climbs out of the ring and goes after him. Dustin runs to the back and Rachel chases him up the ramp closely followed by Justin Evans. The referee counts to 10 with no reply from any of the remaining participants so he calls for the bell.
Ed Set: What...that’s it?
David Sierra: But what about the number one contendership?
Ed Set: Well the rules do state a count of ten on the outside and no one answered it, so this match is over.
The scene fades to black as the two commentators look bemused.

XVI returns from the commercial break, Eric Cabrera stands in the centre of the ring awaiting the next match. Its Time to Dance begins to quietly thrum into the stadium. The crowd grows silent to hear the music, once realizing the man behind the music, A majority jump top there feet. The arena begins to resinate with there cheers. There is an explosion at the top of the entrance ramp. Bryan apears from behind the pyro. As the music picks up, Bryan runs to the apron, and jumps onto the ring side. He grabs the ropes and uses them as leverage to flip into the ring. He taunts to the crowd as he jumps up and down in the ring jabing in the direction of his opponents and waits for the bell.
Eric Cabrera: Ladies and Gentlemen this match is scheduled for one fall and is for the NextGen championship, introducing first from San Francisco California... he is Bryan Variety!
Little Victories by The Horrors hits the P.A. system and the room goes black, Ticker enters from behind the curtain and holds his arms in the air with a cocky smirk on his face. As Tickers hands are raised fire works fire up in a light green colour. The room dims to green and black Ticker begins walking down the ramp with a cocky swagger and look. As Ticker walks down toward the ring yellow lights flash around the ramp in a figure of 8 pattern. Ticker then jump on the ring and enters through the ropes he runs to a turnbuckle and taunts the crowd with his arms outstretched and his hands in the shape of guns. He turns and jumps off the turnbuckle and faces his opponent.
Eric Cabrera: And his opponent, from Stoke-on-Trent, England the XVI NextGen Champion of the world... Ticker!
The bell rings and the two prepare to lock up, Bryan jumps in and nails Ticker with a forearm knocking him off balance, he tries to follow up but Ticker forces himself free and begins to hammer down blows onto Bryans back as he falls to the floor.
Ed Set: Both men look like they want this tonight
Bryan tries to trip Ticker up but Ticker scouts it and stands on his hand, he spins on his wrist and stamps on Bryans head on the way round. Ticker lifts him up and throws him into the corner hard. He climbs up and begins a ten punch that the crowd chant along with.
David Sierra: Ticker showing off to the fans as usual
Ed Set: He may be but he still gets the job done, look at the pain on Bryans face
Ticker finishes his ten punches and then bulldogs Bryan over to the other side of the ring. Bryan lies face down on the mat whilst Ticker delivers a leg drop to the back of his neck. Bryan holds the back of his neck and Ticker picks him up whipping him against the ropes and kicking him in the stomach on the way back.
Ed Set: He’s setting him up for the Styles Clash
Ticker lifts up Bryan and delivers the Styles Clash, he then makes his way to the top rope and prepares to fly, he jumps off landing the Ticking Bomb straight across Bryans chest, Ticker lies on his chest and counts with the referee... 1... 2... 3!
Ed Set: Ticker did it
David Sierra: He brought his A game today for sure.
Ticker celebrates in the ring holding his title high in the air as the scene fades to black.

Side Effect returns from its commercial break as the cameras instantly focus on the staging area. Suddenly, Remedy by Cold begins to blare over the PA system and smoke begins to fill the stage. A few seconds later the legendary Kid jack emerges from beyond the smoke wearing a suit and a pair of shades. Kid Jack stands boldly on the stage as he scans the crowd.
Ed Set: Holy mackerel!
David Sierra: I can’t believe it! Are my eyes deceiving me, Ed or has the legendary Kid Jack just has entered the building!?
Ed Set: I’d say your eyes are seeing what everybody else is seeing.
David Sierra: It was a figure of speech, idiot.
At this point, Kid Jack is shown strutting down the ramp. He stops at the end of the ramp and looks at around the arena before climbing up onto the apron.
Eric Cabrera: Ladies and gentlemen, making his way to his ring from Houston, Texas… Kid Jack!
Ed Set: For those unfamiliar with Kid Jack; Kid Jack is somewhat of a wrestling legend—
David Sierra: Somewhat? Ed, the guy is a wrestling marvel! The guy has left behind a legacy in every wrestling promotion he has been in. Not to mention that he has held every major World title in this business today.
Ed Set: its okay, David; He can’t actually hear you kissing his ass.
David Sierra: Why don’t you just shut up? I’m just paying my respects to he guy, unlike you!
Kid Jack is standing inside the middle of the ring with a microphone in his hand. Kid Jack receives a lukewarm reaction from the fans as some boo him whilst others cheer him in. He scans around the arena before finally raising the microphone to his mouth.
Kid Jack: Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you the greatest professional wrestler in the entire world today – yours truly, Kid Jack! I know some of you are scratching your heads, puzzled. Well, it’s okay. I figured most of you would be too retarded to have heard of me, so listen up as I take a little stroll down memory lane. Don’t worry, I’ll keep this short. My name is Kid Jack and I have done things that would leave you people in awe. I am wrestling spectacle that has left legacy in every federation he has wrestling in, from WCE to wWw. I can guarantee that XVI will be no different. I am here for one purpose and one purpose only; The XVI Championship, and quite frankly, if I have to bulldoze my way through everybody in the back then so be it. So, to everybody in the back; take note because Kid Jack is making his mark and when he does... you won’t know what’s hit you. Believe that!
Remedy by Cold begins to play over the PA system. Kid Jack throws the microphone into the crowd and begins to exit the ring.
Ed Set: Wow that was very... brief.
David Sierra: What do you expect? The guy is a very busy man. He probably had to leave to take care of some sick kids.
Ed Set: I very much doubt that.
David Sierra: Give the man chance, damn it! I predict big things for Kid Jack. Mark my words, Ed.
Ed Set: Yeah, well... I’ll believe it when I see it.
Kid Jack is shown at the top of the ramp. He looks at the crowd in disgust before head to the back as the scene fades slowly begins to fade to black.

Pitch black darkness descends upon the area. Entrance music starts to play as walls of fire line the ramp a hooded figure in black on a black throne with a chained black mastiff sitting on each side of it as a fog starts to cover the arena. The man on throne lets his hood fall back revealing white horns as he sips a mug of blood. The mug comes down and the man smiles revealing a pair of fangs. He stands up then sets the mug on the seat of the throne as a pair of black feathery wings spread. He slowly walks down the ramp as a light rain starts to fall a lightning bolt hitting the center of the ring every few seconds until his feet hit the steps. He slowly steps into the ring in between the second and top ropes. He walks to the center of the ring and then lifts his arms and then drops them as the lights come back up. Unbuttons his black cloak as the wings fold back down and then takes it off the revealing his black clothes and his midnight black hair flowing down his back as he grins. On his waist is strapped a sword that is drawn to reveal a bluish tinted blade. He raises the blade as balls of ice fall on the ring posts. He sheathes the sword and then unstraps his sword belt. Walks to his corner the winged cloak and sword belt handed to bell ringer.
Eric Cabrera: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, there will be no time limit! Introducing first, standing 5’9”, weighing in at 170lbs, he hails from Parts Unknown, Sah’tttttttaaaaaa Thhhhooooooorrrrrr!!!
David Sierra: He came so damn close to being King of The Ring, and in my honest opinion, he damn well should be. But tonight, he gets a small measure of revenge when he gets to face the man who caused him his loss last week, Jordan Glass!
Ed Set: Whether you like it or not, Serafin are in town and Serafin are taking over. Making David Calaz the King of the Ring was only the first of many steps with them taking over XVI. And trust me, its gotta kill Makaveli to know it!
Just then, footsteps can be heard over the PA system.
David ~ We know what this means.
Ed ~ Yes we do! Here he comes!
Suddenly, a deep voice that would strike fear into the hearts of the bravest of men rings over the PA's and out over the ocean of people ..
Voice ~ Are you ready?
The crowd recognizes the voice and an explosion of jubilation resounds across the complete building. It reaches the outmost part of the parking lot, and continues out into the busy night.
Once again, the voice rings in their ears.
Voice ~ It has begun.
The footsteps cease. Suddenly, the lights dim, as a pane of glass shatters, sounding throughout the arena. The drum solo from "Metalingus" rocks the arena, then stops .. and an explosion goes off. White pyro's shoot into the air as the crowd jump to their feet, screaming salutations to their icon. A single white spotlight shines down on the man standing there, who is covered in mist and fog, with his beautiful girl at his side. Jordan Glass takes two steps forward, stepping out of the mist, bringing Alyssa Andrews along with him. He is fully decked out in black. His black leather trench coat hangs down around his leather boots. His black jeans have a chain hanging from one of the belt loops and he is wearing a black muscle shirt. His black, wavy locks draped down around his shoulders and face, accentuating his grey-black eyes. He slowly begins to make his way to the ring, looking around at the crowd, walking hand in hand with Alyssa, smiling at her every chance he gets. He slides under the bottom rope, Alyssa walking around the ring and to his corner as he jumps up onto his feet. He walks to the back corner of the ring and removes his trench coat, passes it to Alyssa and fixes his gaze on the curtain at the top of the ramp. He hops around, warming up while looking at his opponent.
Eric Cabrera: And his opponent, standing 6’6”, weighing in at 270lbs, he hails from St Johns, New Foundland, he is one half of Serafin, Jordan “Bullet Proof” Glass!!!
David Sierra: Its gotta crawl under Thors skin knowing that Calaz and Jordan are forming this faction, and that they used him as their first hit. I cant wait to see Thor get a measure of revenge here.
Ding Ding Ding!
The match starts off immediately with Thor launching himself onto his opponent with a flying face kick. Jordan falls back against the ropes as Thor rebounds and begins to unload a series of vicious forearms, chops, and knees to the gut against his much larger foe. The fans are caught off guard as well by the overwhelming assault of Thor over his opponent, as Thor finishes the combination with a powerful clothesline to the chest of Jordan Glass! Bullet Proof falls into the corner as Thor begins to taunt, shining his fangs in the glint of lights from the arena, the fans are in a frenzy at the pure dominance so far. Thor go to the other side of the ring, and makes a running leap towards Jordan with what looks like a bronco buster type move, but Bullet Proof moves out of the way, getting Thor crotched in the corner!
Ed Set: Seems like Jordan Glass isn’t just bullet proof, he can dodge the suckers as well!
Jordan Glass shakes the cobwebs out for a moment, and levels Thor with a vicious stiff kick to the back of head! Thor crumbles to the mat, but with his feet still draped over the ropes, Jordan delivers a strong leg drop across the face of his opponent. The referee is trying to get Jordan out of the way so Thor can get back into the action, but Jordan brushes the referee to the side as Thor is rising in the turnbuckle. Thor lifts up his feet and stops the advance of Jordan Glass temporarily, but Jordan comes back with a clothesline from hell so powerful, Thor flips over the rope to the apron and still lands on his feet!
David Sierra: Thor has got to be stunned with that vicious clothesline! No moves are being pulled from this newly found persona of Jordan Glass!
But Thor is able to fight out of his predicament again with a forearm to the neck of Bullet Proof. Thor goes for his favorite position at times it would seem as he springboards off the ropes towards his foe with his back turned, but Jordan Glass catches him with a Shattering Plummet as a counter! Thor flies back against the ropes, out on his feet from that unexpected impact, as Jordan charges up and breaks his opponent in half with the Shards of Glass! Jordan folds over Thor with a pin attempt.
One… Two… Three!!!
Ding Ding Ding!
Ed Set: Wow, just wow. Jordan Glass was all freakin business tonight. He was in no mood to allow Thor a measure of revenge!
David Sierra: Thor never backed down for a second Ed. And I know for a fact that Thor will not hesitate to tackle Bullet Proof again. He’s got too much heart, and is too damn tough to take this lying down for long!

We get back from commercials and we see Ed Set and David Sierra sitting at their announce table. Ed smiles at the camera, as does David.
Ed ~ Welcome back to XVI's Side Effect, and next up is our main event match-up between David Calaz and Matthew Szaban.
David ~ Yes, it is .. but first, I have to comment on that match we just saw between Jordan Glass and Sah'ta Thor. Thor did put up a good fight .. but he just couldn't top the number one contender for the World Championship.
Ed laughs.
David ~ What's so funny?
Ed looks over to David.
Ed ~ It's just .. Calaz beat Thor at King of the Ring, and now Jordan beat him on Side Effect. Also, Jordan beat the XVI Chairman, Makaveli at King of the Ring, and now Calaz is going against Makaveli's worst enemy, Szaban.
David laughs now as well.
David ~ It seems the new alliance, called by Serafin, is making quite an impact on XVI .. but will Calaz be able to keep the streak going?
The arena lights cut off. It is pitch black for a couple of seconds, then strobe lighting starts to flicker on and off violently as "Sorry, Your Not A Winner" by Enter Shikari hits. The camera zooms in on the titontron watching the entrance video of Calaz. Then it cuts back to the crowd, showing a spotlight searching around, slowly skimming from one section to another. The spotlight makes its way to the top corner of the arena and stops, revealing Calaz and Jaime Reed standing side by side. Around Calaz waist, the Xtreme title sits.
Eric Cabrera ~ Entering the ring first, here from Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom. Weighing in at 220 pounds and a height of six foot two, your Xtreme Champion AND the King of the Ring, David Calaz!
The spotlight follows them down the stairs of the arena while the strobe lighting gives an effect of slow motion. They reaches the bottom of the stairs and they hop the barricade. Jaime climbs up the stairs and under the bottom rope as Calaz scuttles up the stairs and quickly hops through the middle and top rope, as he raises up again he throws his arms up and over his head, holding the Xtreme title. His hood flies down and droops over the back of his jacket. Jaime stands holding her arms out in apreciation of Calaz as he then spreads his arms out, holding the belt in one hand, and walks over to the other side of the ring holding the pose. The strobe lighting dies down as Calaz walks over to the corner, dropping his title over the ropes into the waiting hands of a stage hand. He awaits his opponent as Jaime climbs out of the ring.
David ~ He won the King of the Ring match against Thor, like we already said, and he is the Xtreme Champion. This man has come far since the beginning of XVI.
Ed ~ Yes, he has .. but will he be able to defeat the Champion of Champions, Matt Szaban?
The crowd grows and grows in volume as it is all broken and silented momentarily by the sound and the words of
T. R. U. E. C. H. A. M. P.
that appears across the XVItron, The crowd explodes into '"Szaban" chants as they are awaiting the entrance of the Champion of Champions Szaban
..S..Z..A..B..A..N..
appears across the screen.
Eric Cabrera ~ Entering second, from Worcester, Massachusetts, weighing in at 221 pounds and at a height of six foot two. He is the Champion of Champions, Matthew Szaban!
The crowd screams and cheers as the name apears on the XVItron, The arena is entire blacked out but then a lighter is lit then another one, and at first it seems one by one, but suddenly the entire arena is lit up by thousands of individual lighters. The beginning part of Eminem's "Till I Collapse"; blares throughout the PA system and the blue neon lights slowly illuminate the arena
'Cause sometimes you feel tired, feel weak, and when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up. But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength and just pull that shit out of you and get that motivation to not give up and not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse.
"Till I Collapse" Explodes out of the speakers and the crowd manages to be heard roaring with cheers over the music. The crowd explodes into 'Szaban' Chants as he makes his way down the ring. He slides under the ropes, and stares at Calaz. They stare at each other, awaiting the bell.
Ed ~ Wow, I didn't realize this until just now .. but they are almost exactly the same size! Both are six foot two and Szaban is only a pound heavier than Calaz!
Both men laugh.
David ~ What a coincidence.
- DING DING DING! -
Szaban eyes Calaz, looking him up and down, judging what to do first .. which was a mistake. In the blink of an eye, Calaz has Szaban pinned under him, slamming right fists into his cranium.
Ed ~ Well .. that was quick!
Calaz stands up, then drops down with a heavy elbow to Szaban's skull. He stands back up, looking down at his work so far .. he smirks. He turns, running at the ropes, rebounds off them, then slides down, hitting Szaban with a sliding dropkick to the ribs, sending him under the ropes and to the outside of the ring.
As Szaban hits the mat hard, Calaz is right behind him, landing on his feet. He laughs as Szaban cringes, holding his side. Calaz picks up Szaban and they trade blows. Calaz hits a right, then Szaban hits a right, then Calaz hits another. Szaban, Calaz, Szaban, Calaz. Finally, Szaban gets a good hit in, sending Calaz onto his back.
Szaban lifts him up and goes to irish whip him into the steel steps, but Calaz reverses it. Calaz sends Szaban sailing through the steps, head first.
David ~ This ain't the first time we've seen this. Calaz reversed an irish whip at King of the Ring and sent Thor straight through those steps.
Ed ~ Well if this turns out to be a repeat of King of the Ring, Jordan Glass won't be backstage for long.
Calaz smiles evilly before walking over to Szaban and picking him up. The referee's count is at five, so Calaz quickly picks up Szaban and slams his back hard into the ringpost, then pushes him back into the ring before rolling in himself at the count of eight.
Calaz raises up, then pulls up Szaban .. but Szaban was done being manhandled. He gives a quick jab to Calaz gut, then slaps him accross the face. Calaz turns, about to rebound with his own slap, but Szaban nails him with a hard left, a hard right, and a slap to the chest. As Calaz stands there, dazed, Szaban jumps up and nails a dropkick right to the centre Calaz chest.
Calaz hits the mat hard on his back. He cringes, his hand placed on his tailbone. Szaban lifts him up, gives him a kick to the gut, then nails a good hard DDT. He then gets up and grabs Calaz legs .. then locks in the sharpshooter!
David ~ Yes, a good submission! Some old-school wrestling here, boy.
Ed ~ Who you callin' boy?
The referee conversates with Calaz as he screams, reaching for the ropes. Calaz hand raises high, then comes down .. and grabs a rope. The referee tells Szaban to break the hold, so he does. He then runs to the corner, jumping up onto the top ropes. He turns around, looking down at where Calaz was .. but he's not there anymore?
Szaban turns, and see's Calaz nowhere. Suddenly, the lights die ..
Ed ~ Haha! More "technical difficulties" people.
David ~ I'm hoping Calaz isn't going to cheat his way into a win again.
The lights come back on and the referee and Szaban are out on their backs in the middle of the ring. Calaz stands over them, holding his title in his hand. Outside the ring, standing with Jaime, is Jordan and Alyssa. They all have smiles on their faces. Calaz drops his belt and awakes the referee, then drops down for the pin.
The referee slaps his hand on the ring with great effort ..
One .. Two .. Three!!
Calaz stands up, grabbing his belt and raising his own hand.
Eric Cabrera ~ And you winner, David Calaaaaaaaaaaz!
Right after Calaz's win, the arena goes pitch dark...
David ~ No.. Not again!
They go right back up and a man in all black, including his face, is seen placing a chair on Matt's neck!
Ed ~ Who the hell is this?! NO! Somebody stop this!
The man in black climbs up the turnbuckle and jumps. He stomps the chair in which Matt's neck is caught between the chair. Matt is seen swirming all over the ring grabbing his neck.. coughing up blood. The man in black raises his arms as David and Ed are heard yelling at each other about who the hell it could have been...
OFF AIR.
