(OOC: Okay, I know this isn't the best roleplay, but I thought for my first one here, it'd be best to do a little in ring introductory RP. It's not very long, but I suppose it'll have to do. My RPs after this will be far better, I can promise you that.)
The scene opens up inside the arena where the screaming fans fill the seats. All of a sudden, the lights shut off. Whispers of speculation are heard as the members of the audience discuss what is occurring. A dark, red light engulfs the arena, illuminating the faces of the fans that wait in suspense. The sound of “All My Life” by Foo Fighters fights its way out of the PA system. Segments of the crowd instantly recognise the significance of this, while others are still in wonder. Now standing on stage with his back to the audience is a man of average height and great build. He is attired in a pair of red tights and a black vest with red outlining. Covering this vest is a black, leather jacket, complete with the initials “DDT” printed in old English, red letters. A pair of tinted sunglasses covers his dark eyes as he awaits the introductory music to end and the main riff of the song to kick in. In doing so, the figure quickly turns around to show his smug face. He stands on the stage, staring at the many viewers that look back at him.
Dan begins to strut down the metal ramp leading towards the squared circle. Upon reaching the halfway mark, he drops to his knees and an array of fireworks explodes behind him at the titantron area. The crowd are roaring lions, impressed by the magnificent entrance the newcomer is making. They cheer and the fireworks end. As the smoke is settling, Dan stands and continues his journey ahead. He strolls up the black, metal ring steps and ascends the turnbuckle from the outside, raising his arms. Using the top rope for leverage, he drops down into the ring where he is handed the microphone from ring announcer, Eric Cabrera. Eric climbs out of the ring, leaving Dan to stand alone in the centre of the ring. The music fades and the lights restore to normal. He presses his foot down firmly on the canvas, getting a feel for his future home. He then looks up, raising the microphone towards his chiselled face before speaking for the first time in XVI.
At this point, many of Dan’s followers explode into large “DDT” chants that echo throughout the building. The newcomer stands with a modest structure, allowing his arms to drape to his sides; his head tilted to the right side of him.
Impressed by his charisma, the many fans that fill up the packed stadium begin to cheer. The chants spread from person to person like a disease, infecting everyone until almost the full arena of people are joining in with full optimism.
With his spare hand, Dan quickly takes off his tinted sunglasses, unveiling the fire that blazes in his dark eyes. The crowd are roaring lions, erupting in a vast array of applause for the new superstar in front of them. After the audience have calmed down, Dan slowly pulls the microphone up to his face and presses it against his red lips allowing his rich, British accent to flow smoothly from his mouth.
Upon hearing this name, there are mixed reactions emerging from the crowd. Unsure on how to respond, Dan simply nods his head gently, squinting his left eye to show his agreement. He is aware that some people like Myst and enjoy watching him wrestle; whereas others are not too fond on him.
Dan takes a few steps back into the far left corner. He uses the top rope to elevate him up before sitting on the black turnbuckle pad. He looks around at the crowd that he appears to have eating out of his hand. With his spare fingers, he begins to scratch his trademark stubble on his chin, moving them slowly up to where he rubs his eyes. He then looks back up.
Dan jumps down from off of the top turnbuckle, landing back down on the canvas. The crowd are silent, solemnly listening in anticipation as the new warrior steps forward. He walks to the side closest to the fixed camera and leans over the top rope. The camera zooms in to the upper torso as Dan stares right into it. He brings the microphone up to his face again to speak, sending a direct message to Jordan Glass.
Dan immediately drops the microphone. A large grin stretches from cheek to cheek as he climbs through the top and middle rope and drops to the floor below him. “All My Life” by Foo Fighters plays once again. Turning around, he walks backwards up the metal ramp, pointing to random fans that cheer him on. He reaches the ramp. He is about to step backstage, but before he does, he rotates his head, getting his final glimpse of the audience for that night. He then steps behind the black curtain, exiting the arena. The scene fades to black.
All my life I've been searching for something
Something never comes never leads to nothing
Nothing satisfies but I'm getting close
Closer to the prize at the end of the rope
All night long I dream of the day
When it comes around then it's taken away
Leaves me with the feeling that I feel the most
The feeling comes to life when I see your ghost
Come down don't you resist
You have such a delicate wrist
And if I give it a twist
Something to hold when I lose my breath
Will I find something in that
So give me just what I need
Another reason to bleed
ONE BY ONE hidden up my sleeve
ONE BY ONE hidden up my sleeve
Hey don't let it go to waste
I love it but I hate the taste
Weight keeping me down [x2]
Will I find a believer
Another one who believes
Another one to deceive
Over and over down on my knees
If I get any closer
And if you open up wide
And if you let me inside
On and on I've got nothing to hide
On and on I've got nothing to hide
Hey don't let it go to waste
I love it but I hate the taste
Weight keeping me down [x2]
All my life I've been searching for something

When it comes around then it's taken away
Leaves me with the feeling that I feel the most
The feeling comes to life when I see your ghost
And I'm done, done and I'm under the next one [x8, then x4 but yelling]
Hey don't let it go to waste
I love it but I hate the taste
Weight keeping me down [x2]
[yelling]
Done done and under the next one
Done I'm done and I'm under the next

Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome …from Manchester, England …weighing in at 245 pounds …Dan “Dragon” Taylor!Dan begins to strut down the metal ramp leading towards the squared circle. For those of you here tonight who recognise me elsewhere, nudge the person to the side of you and tell them the ride that they are in for. For those of you that don’t know me, allow me to introduce myself. I am the DDT …K …I …D and I am finally here in XVI! My name is Dan “Dragon” Taylor! At this point, many of Dan’s followers explode into large “DDT” chants that echo throughout the building. The newcomer stands with a modest structure, allowing his arms to drape to his sides; his head tilted to the right side of him.

Now, I’m going to be honest. First impressions are not my strong point. As much as I love to interact with the wrestling fans that fill up the isles, I’m not actually here to talk. I don’t my first impression to be judged on how I speak… I want it to be based on what I can do in the ring. Very, very shortly, I’m going to show you what it is that I can actually in the ring, but for now… I’ll get on with the talking. Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for the new era of X-treme Vicious Intent. This is the year of the Dragon!Impressed by his charisma, the many fans that fill up the packed stadium begin to cheer. The chants spread from person to person like a disease, infecting everyone until almost the full arena of people are joining in with full optimism.

Judging from that reaction, I think I’m safe to jump to the conclusion that a lot of you people have seen me in action. You’ve seen me rise in FWF. You’ve seen me dominate in ORW. You’ve seen me hold championship after championship and you’ve seen me climb to the very top of the ladder and break through the glass ceiling. Generally, I’m not one to toot my own horn, but my God, I’ve had one hell of a career. Now, I know what you’re all thinking. You think that I can definitely talk the talk, so to speak… but can I walk the walk? This brings me on to the reason I came here. This is a place that’s different from all others. There is a great deal of amazing wrestlers backstage in that locker room. I don’t know if I will beat them and I don’t know if I will lose to them… but I know I’ll have a hell of a time finding out. I love a challenge and however challenging they may be, no matter how good those that sit in the locker room are, no matter what achievements those in the back lacing up their boots have accomplished, they will never be… the can never be… and they can only dream of being the one, the only… Mr. Wrestling! With his spare hand, Dan quickly takes off his tinted sunglasses, unveiling the fire that blazes in his dark eyes. The crowd are roaring lions, erupting in a vast array of applause for the new superstar in front of them. So now… let me get down to business. This is my serious face. And you know what a serious face means, don’t you? It means that I am serious. Now, those that know me would tell you that I’m a fun loving guy, but I know the barrier. I know when it’s time to stop the jokes and the laughter and concentrate on my matches… even if the competition are jokes themselves. This week on Side Effect, I will be having my debut match. It’s not just going to be a straight up one on one bout either… it will be a triple threat match. One of my opponents will be… Myst.Upon hearing this name, there are mixed reactions emerging from the crowd. Unsure on how to respond, Dan simply nods his head gently, squinting his left eye to show his agreement. He is aware that some people like Myst and enjoy watching him wrestle; whereas others are not too fond on him.
.:|x|:. Dan “Dragon” Taylor .:|x|:.
Me and Myst have something in common. I’m not really familiar with his work, so for all I know, he could be a big superstar in another promotion. Similar to me. Not everyone knows who I am here, but in other companies I’d say I’m pretty big. The point is… to XVI, we are nobodies. We are nobodies with a yearning goal to be somebodies. We want a little recognition. Myst has already been in a match on pay-per-view. At King of the Ring, Myst took out two people. As far as debuts go, that’s quite impressive. I don’t even think it’s the fact that Myst beat two people that’s scary. It’s who those people are and how he beat them. Both Ritalin and Prozac of the Meds went into that match, thinking they didn’t have any decent competition. They were way off. Not only did Myst destroy them, but he did it in a matter of seconds. Impressive. Very impressive indeed… but you know something? I’m not buying into him for one minute. He may build himself up as this mysterious being… but being hailed from Parts Unknown is just too much of a cliché for me to take him seriously.Dan takes a few steps back into the far left corner. He uses the top rope to elevate him up before sitting on the black turnbuckle pad. He looks around at the crowd that he appears to have eating out of his hand. With his spare fingers, he begins to scratch his trademark stubble on his chin, moving them slowly up to where he rubs his eyes. He then looks back up.
.:|x|:. Dan “Dragon” Taylor .:|x|:.
This brings me on to my second opponent; someone who I actually take seriously. You know who I’m talking about… Jordan Glass. This man is undefeated here in Xtreme Vicious Intent. And I guess, since I don’t really know a great deal about him, I’m going have to compare him to me. You see, Jordan is a hungry man. He’s got a great craving for some gold and I know just how he feels. I’ve had seven world championships in my time and I’ve felt the same as him before most of them. Last year, there was one title in particular I had my sight set on getting. There was a tournament in which sixteen of the top wrestlers in that promotion were involved in. The winner of this would receive the Heavyweight Title of the world. I’m not going to name that federation because it’d probably be cheap advertisement. But I battled through all the opponents that were put ahead of me… and then we got to the final. It was me facing off against… well… a certain legend that you may be familiar with here. It was Dan “Dragon” Taylor going one on one with X-ecutioner. Now, X was everybody’s favourite to win. It was a no contest in the eyes of the viewers there. However, when he put his arm over me for the pin, he couldn’t get the three, because the DDT Kid was running on his passion. He plucked up all his determination and was able to beat X-ecutioner and take home the prize. The point I’m trying to make is that when you are going for gold, then you do whatever it takes to get it. If an opponent goes up against you and you have that great passion inside of you, then you will be able to overcome the odds. Jordan could easily walk into our match this Monday and destroy me and Myst, picking up the win. I know you are very hungry for gold, but I’ve got news for Mr. Glass.Dan jumps down from off of the top turnbuckle, landing back down on the canvas. The crowd are silent, solemnly listening in anticipation as the new warrior steps forward. He walks to the side closest to the fixed camera and leans over the top rope. .:|x|:. Dan “Dragon” Taylor .:|x|:.
I haven’t eaten in a while… and I am just as hungry for the gold as you are! You are walking on very thin ice boy, and pretty soon I am going to DDT straight through it. Myst… Glass… both of you better watch out. This Dragon can breathe fire and he will burn any chance that you have of beating me.Dan immediately drops the microphone. A large grin stretches from cheek to cheek as he climbs through the top and middle rope and drops to the floor below him. “All My Life” by Foo Fighters plays once again. Turning around, he walks backwards up the metal ramp, pointing to random fans that cheer him on. He reaches the ramp.
