Thor sits on the park bench with a smile on his lips. He was was shocked at how easy it had been to pull off his plan. All he had to do was wave a forged note in front of the noses of the people at the day care enter. With a soft chuckle he looks around the park and watches the little girl who was playing on the slides. With a smile he gets up to join her. As he gets closer to her she becomes easily recognizable as Rachel's daughter Rochelle. She was wearing a pair of black jeans, a red Whiney the Pooh t-shirt and a pair of black sandals.
"Are you having fun Rochelle?"
Rochelle smiles up at him with a her eyes sparkling as she looks at him. She looks past him to the empty swings and points at them.
"I want to swing."
Thor nods taking her hand gently and leads her over to the swings. Once there he picks her up and gently places her in the swing. Once that was done he walks behind her and slowly pulls back the swing. Once the swing was high enough he lets it go so she was now swinging.
Rochelle lets out a squeal of glee as she swings. Her hair loosely cascading around her shoulders.
"Higher!"
Thor pushes the swing higher as a look of momentary sadness as he remembers the missed opportunities with his own children. This day was starting to open up some painful memories. He shakes his head and continues to push the swing.
After a short while Rochelle looks back at him with a smile and tilts her head as she watches him a moment.
"I am done swinging now."
Thor stops the swing and holds it still as Rochelle jumps off the swing and runs towards the slides again. He could tell she was having fun and that was something that he was glad about. He moves to sit back on the bench as he watches her play.
"It is funny how we take our children for granted. They are the next generation and yet at times we try to force them into being carbon copies of who we are. We try to make them into who we are. Or in the sadder cases we don't get a chance to spend time with our children and miss the opportunity to see them grow up."
Thor falls silent as he watches Rochelle play excitedly on the slides. He could tell the little girl was happy and that made him crack a smile.
"Now this little girl's parents are both wrestlers so I am sure in time there will be lots of pressure on her to also become a wrestler. But more importantly is her parents' attitudes. Her mother, who just happens to be my next opponent in the XVI King of the Ring tournament, is a bitch who is more worried about a material possessions and her public image as a superstar. It doesn't matter to her that things aren't always about her. Now moving on to Rochelle's father Matt Szaban. He is a talented man but is an egotistical asshole who doesn't care who he hurts so long as he gets what he wants. Sure Matt is a loving father but in the end his only passion and love is wrestling."
Thor falls silent as he watches Rochelle play. She reminded him of his own children when they were that age. Not that he had been there for his kids at that age but that wasn't all his fault. Things had fallen apart in his two marriages back home and as a result he had missed his children growing up.
"Now just look at her and see how happy she is on those slides. This is what it is to be a child. Rachel take yourself down from your self delusional cloud and pay attention to the treasure you have in your daughter. I have seen how you have gotten mad at her for being a kid. You don't want your designer things broken by her playing put them out of her reach."
Rochelle jumps off the slide and comes over to Thor and tugs on his arm.
"I want to play on the merry go round."
Thor smiles and stands up leading her over to the merry go round. With a chuckle he helps her onto the merry go round and waits for her to get settled in before starting to spin the merry go round.
Rochelle smiles and screams in excitement and happiness. She was having fun in the park and her only worry at the moment was what to play on next.
Thor smiles softly and continues to spin the merry go round and watches her with catching a small yawn on her beautiful face. Thor chuckles as he stops the merry go round.
Rochelle looks up at him with a slight pout that turns to a full yawn.
Thor kneels down and picks her up gently. With a slow step Thor heads towards the parking lot where his black Hummer was parked. Once at the Hummer he opens the back passenger door and places Rochelle into the car seat. Once she was secured he quietly closes the door.
As soon as she is placed in the car seat she falls asleep and looks angelic as she sleeps with a soft smile.
Thor looks into the window and chuckles as he sees the sleeping girl. The daughter of his next opponent. He slowly walks around the back of the Hummer as he speaks.
"Rachel you have an angel in your daughter and you will have plenty of time to see just how precious she is after I put you on the shelf in our cage match this week. You see Rachel you will feel the brunt of my resentment towards you. You may be a former XVI Xtreme Champion BUT I am much more deserving of an honor in this company. You see I am walking into what will be the my 19th match here in XVI and I have faced people who are so much more talented than you. Prepare for WAR Rachel. Neither of us will escape the cage unscathed but I will walk away to go onto the finals of the tournament."
With that Thor gets into the driver's seat of the Hummer and starts the vehicle before pulling out to drive off. He was going to get Rochelle something to eat before taking her home.
