"The scene begins in a dark, narrowed alley, the wind is blowing in a gentle current, darkened brown leaves russle along the ground as the wind flows through the darkened night air, there is a slight howling noise in the background as the wind blows through some nearby freshly planted trees, their leaves seems too blossoming in the late spring time enviorment, the time of the setting appears to be 4:36 in the morning, the dusk lit sky is beginning to lighten up as the looming daybreak arises, but not so much of the sunrisen light is glistenign through the apparent darkness of the early morning hours. The alley is filled with almost a dozen trashcans stuffed full too capacity with an abundant amount of thrown away garabage, it's also apparent in the dimly light night with a dim blue alley light that there appears too be several WWE Four Horsemen DVD's thrown into the trashcan."
"There are two trashcans on each outlying side of the alley, it appears they are surrounded by large 3 story apartments, and olden looking brick layed buildings surrounded by green satair railing and tanish fire escape ladders and rock concreted steps, with the horrid stentch of rotten garbage filling the night air. There is a ragged old man, in torn up, dirty stained clothing, looking for his his dinner, in one of the nearby trashcans. Towards the back of this alley, stands a figure wearing a blue zipup sweater jacket, dark blue sweat pants with duo white stripes down each pant leg siding, a wrap around face bandana, with darkened shades, and a hood pulled over his head and seemingly darkened Nike shoes, in a loose fitting, blackish hoodie. Underneath this hoodie, there appears too be a robed doll-type masked figure
Ya know....this is what i'm talking about right here, you remember the match,
you people saw the match, I was not defeated, I was NOT defeated in that match,
I could not be dominated. I could not be stopped. I could not be kept down,
I got hit with TWO finishers, I got hit a double suplex, I got hit with a
double suplex by TWO OTHER PEOPLE. I got hit with a chair shot. It took E.M.T's to get me out of
the building. I WOULD NOT stay down. I WOULD NOT give in. And that is
the heart of a wrestler...THAT is that heart of a warrior. A warrior
refuses surrender, no matter what. He would give his life before he
would ever give a match
The crowd pops as it can be heard through the camera. While all this is going on The Kobra removes his sunglasses and puts them on top of his head. He then removes the blueish gloves he was previously wearing. and puts them into his pocket.the wind can be heard howling in the background of the alleyway.
I believe in the heart of the game.
I have the heart and soul, even after my body is battered, bruised,
and beaten. My heart and my soul forced me to continue on.
The venom that plagues this world, is giving in, is doubt,
I have no doubts about winning, I have no doubts, no self doubts about what I can do.
I know that I, no matter what will never give in. If you put me on the mat, try to make me tap,
I will REFUSE to tap out, I REFUSE to put my hands on the mat, I refuse to put my hands
on the mat to submit. I will pass out before I EVER...EVER slap my
hands on the mat to submit.
Suddenly the alley falls dark and the wind quiets down… A single spot light aluminates the center of the ring and The Kobra is shown bowing before a statue of some sort of warrior…
You can break my limbs, break my bones,
batter me, destroy me, dismember me, but you will not make me submit.
I can be in the most horrifying bloody mess this world has ever seen.
And I will still NEVER EVER submit to my opponents. Its my code of
honor, my heart and soul as a warrior, as a wrestler, as an athlete,
as a true competitor. I will NOT, and I repeat on the highest level possible,
WILL NOT submit. And as far as pinning me, my heart will not let me
stay down...3 seconds. You will have to put me through the most
hellacious matches, hellacious hell, EVER. To make me stay down for
even 3 seconds.
The Kobra walks off down the alleyway and walks up to a dumpster and leans against a wall nearby it and continues to stare deeply into the camera.
And I guarantee every opponent I will ever face in
this company I will NOT stay down, I will NOT be an easy victim. I
fight not for myself, not for glory, not for titles, not for victory.
I fight, because I want to put on a great specticle, no matter what,
when I step in the ring, the audience will be chanting...HOLY SHIT...
HOLY SHIT...HOLY SHIT...because they know, even after the punishment,
I still got up, to fight again. Even after the most devastating moves,
I rose again.
The Kobra puts his darkened blue gloves back on and walks back to the alleyway from which he came. Before entering the alleyway he looks back...
I got up to show that I have the heart. I have the soul.
And I have the passion, to keep on going. I will not give in, I will
not surrender, I will always fight. No matter what, it will take more
than a finisher and a chair shot to cheap a win out of me. Because I
will not let that much happen, I will put on a spectacular match for
these fans. I will on a GLORIFYING match for these fans. I will give
EVERYTHING i've got, for these fans. At a PPV or a match that really
matters, or against an opponent that really matters, I will give everything
i've got, and then some. Truely I am a competiter, I'm not here for the Titles,it would be nice too hold a belt, it would be nice too be the World Champion, it would be nice to just hold any title. But, it would be nice too fufill the dream of every wrestler. every wrestler would love to be the World Champion.it's so rare, SO out of sight. I personally would love to have that oppertunity.
The Kobra then walks to the foot of some steps nearby leading to a doorway exit on a nearby building steps and looks up at the fire excapes above him before taking a few steps up… He is now two steps below the fire excapes as if expecting someone above to suddenly fall straight down to him...
I'm not in this company to get it, I would love a chance to be the champion, I would love a chance for once in my career, not just my career but once in my entire life to for once say that i've been one of the best, i've been there, i've acheived a dream. yes i'm the new guy on the block reaching for the world title. isn't everyone in this business reaching for the world title? There is not a man or woman in that lockeroom who wouldn't love the chance to be the world champion. I wont lie, i would love to be the world champion. I would give everything i have to be the world champion. Unfortunately though i'm the new guy, I'm starting at the bottom. that doesn't bother me, it doesn't matter if i ever get a title shot. Like i said i would love to be the world champion like the newly crowned champ i beleive named Jihad. But if i dont get it that's ok too. I am still a great competiter and that will not go unoticed. i will prove week in week out. Every week i step in the ring you will see exactly who i am and what i am about. I'm not about coming out here week in week out and talking trash, i'm not about coming out here and claiming what i've done in my time, i'm not coming out here about too bash on my opponent, i am coming out here too simply show these fans that I AM NOT GOING TO BACKDOWN, and that i will give them 180% everyweek.
The Kobra then props himself up in the corner if the door leaning against it rubbing is shirt on his gloves, like he is polishing them, and appears to be waiitng for the wind to die down alittle bit.
Everyweek i will be a force the fans reconize, i will be the cure to the venom of slouchy and lazy wrestling, i will be the cure to the venom of people with their head stuck so far up their ass they have their ego showing when a profesional should never have no ego. I am not about arrogance, I am not about glory, and i'm not about myself. I'm about my fans, i'm about all of the fans, i'm about wrestling, i'm about the spirit of the true heart, soul, and passion of the game, and that is what i am here to do. I am here to restablish what the game is all about. The game is simply about this...the game is about giving everything you got in the ring, showing everyone you have the heart, that you the passion to win. Yeah some people may not like the fact that i want to be one of the best, I'm not here too claim i'm the best. But i'm here because i want too become one of the best and i dont want to be the best for the glory. I want to be the best because i want too be my best and i garentee you nomatter what opponent i face i will be my best, i will give them a run for their money.
The Kobra closes his eyes and takes in his surroundings, and begins to zone out to the sound of the wind…
I dont care who you are, where you come from, what are, Even if you're an owner, even if you're an audience member, it dont matter. I will still give you everything i've got. Because that's what you expect. Everybody in the lockeroom expects you to give your best and I garentee you everyone in that lockeroom even the most arrogant of people deep down want to see the passion of wrestling burning in your eyes and heart, they want you too give them your all. when and if you beat them, they may not say it, they may not admit it but...deep down they are praising you because they know nomatter what you do...that night you were hungry, you wanted it more, and yes they might be the better person, but they know that night you were the better person. In this sport and in this business nobody is better than anyone else. on any given night anybody can defeat anybody. Any given moment anyone can become champion, anyone can be the victor. i am not here too be the champion, i am not even here too be the victor. I am here because i enjoy this sport. yes i would prefer it if i was to win and yes i would enjoy it if i was the champion, and i would not mind if i stumbled upon a title or two, atleast i would have earned it. I earn it by showing i have the courage, i have the passion for the sport, i have the heart and soul of a true warrior and a pure wrestling athelete, of a professional competiter, and i will prove that i have what it takes to be a top contender.
The Kobra is seen standing in front of a door, he then walks over to a window and looks in and then onto the alleyway before him…As he’s looking it begins to rain and flashes of lighting can be seen off in the distance…
I dont care if i get a title. i will tell you bosses this...i respect everything you have done in this company, i respect everything you do, i respect any decision you make. If you decide i should never get any title shots. I would also respect that.I might not like that decision but i would respect it. if it wasn't for the management i would not be able to stand before you as i am this moment, we wouldn't have such great fans, we wouldn't have the great calibur of stars in the lockeroom that we have, and the guys inback i have witnessed them and they are pheneominal atheletes, before i even came to the ring i saw the atheletes. You guys are impressive wrestlers, you guys are simply amazing, and i hope that one day i become great as all of you. I'm just getting started in this business, i have no career, i have nothing too stand on yet. most kids comein and immediately think they deserve the world title. I'm not here for that. I want to make it abundantly clear to each and every one of you guys in the back, to all of the management team, and to all the fans out here tonight, and all the fans sitting at home watching via a televison set..I want to be a great wrestler, i want to be a great performer, i want too be one of the best and not for glory and not for belts or the limelight. just because i want the fans to lookup and say one more time Kobra, Kobra, Kobra!
The rain begins to fall as The Kobra continues to just stand where he is staring into the alleyway as if unfazed by the rain…
I want them too lookup and say Kobra is our hero, Kobra is our cure to all venoms. Rather it be the Venom of arrogance, rather it be the venom of a pleague, rather it it be the venom of being conceded in ones own vanity, rather it be the venom of the absent minded fools, rather it be the venom of just being deplorible. deplorible in nature or in stature or horrible in athletisism. I am the cure too everything that poisons wrestling of today, i will be the cure to the people who bash the fans, i am not claiming to be the best. I am the worst at this point. I am at the bottom of the foodchain trying to paw my way up. it's like climbing a pyramid...you startoff on the bottom floor and work you way to the top and on your way theres all these little traps, and you know to be honest with you...My opponent tonight is just another trap keeping me from reaching the top of the pyramid. Now rather the top of pyramid be the world champion or a diffrent title and even just my establishment as a wrestler doesn't matter. All that matters is i need to reach the top, I need too push my heart as a warrior on to the top, There is another old saying. Even if you reach the top of the world, you can always climb higher. I plan too prove that starting with my match tonight against Brian Variety.
The Kobra begins too finally move out from infront fo the door.
I respect all of you fans and i respect all of you wrestlers in the back. Most of all i respect my opponent. I would also like to take a moment too commend the management team for putting on a great specticle this past sunday and allowing me to be apart of it. Just having a role in it makes me grateful. I also appreciate the wrestlers who gave me the oppertunity to wrestle against them and get a taste of whats to come for my future. Everyone in back my respect is out to you. I'm not living in the future...I know who my opponent is tonight. I must focus on him now. I want to let him know just like all of those guys in that match...i want you to know my friend...that i will be here and i will give you everything i've got. Nomatter how hard you go i promise you i will be just as hard and try too be even harder. I will give a show to rememeber. WIn or lose...i wish you the best of luck. I would offer to let you comeout here and shake my hand. But, i'm not in the arena. I do appreciate you just granting me the oppertunity too wrestle you. you know we're both new guys on the block and fresh in the game. I've just got to say this to you man so you know what i do...goodluck. best wishes, and may the best man win. May it be myself or you.
The Kobra walsk down the alley alittle unfazed by the rain as it picks up as the Kobra is seen walking down the alleyway and around the corner as the scene fades with The Kobra walking away leaving his presence felt throughtout the XVI crowd
