Scene opens in the arena of this weeks Side Effect. As the camera sweeps around the audience each and every fan is trying to do something, anything to get the camera’s attention to get seen on T.V. so they could have something juicy to brag about later. Excitement is high and gets even higher as the lights dim a little and the words “The Meds” flash on the tron and “Move” by Thousand Foot Krutch blasts over the P.A.
Look, listen to my voice
If you're making the choice
Tell me all the girls and the boys
Either scream or rejoice
Let's make that noise
Either move or we will all be destroyed
Ed: Oh no!
David: Here come everybody’s favorite nut jobs.
The curtain moves aside and the Meds emerge out onto the stage both dressed in blues jeans, each have a T-shirt on, Prozac wears a black one and Ritalin has a red one. They each have a pair on black Nike sneakers on their feet. If you look at them from ring view Ritalin stands to the left, Prozac in the middle. They stand on stage staring at the full pack crowd taking in the cheers.
Move and show me what you can do
when you step into the circle and shake like we do
Move when you just can't take it
and move if you just feel like breaking it
They then start pumping up the crowd waving there hands up to get the crowd to chant louder. A Meds chant picks up and all three men proceed down the ramp and towards the ring taking every opportunity he can to slap hands with some of the ringside fans.
Can you hear me? Stop, look, listen to my voice,
It was never my choice to feel all alone
This is my home
Back up , you don't know if you've never been here,
You've never been to the place inside, I face my fears
It takes everything I am
They reach the ring and they all slide under the bottom rope. Once in the ring they all walk around pumping up the crowd.
If you come near me, stop, look, listen to my voice
If you're making the choice tell all the girls and the boys
Either scream or rejoice
Let's make that noise
Either move or we will all be destroyed
Back up and let go if you've never been here,
You've never been to the place inside, I face my fears,
It takes everything I am
Ritalin asks the ring side crew man for three mics which the crew man hands him.
Ed: No don’t give them mics.
They each grab one of the microphones and waits for the music to fade. Prozac takes a mic and stands in the middle of the ring and Ritalin paces around. When the music stops Prozac displays a grin as he lifts up the microphone to speak.
Prozac
Hello addicts!
The crowd erupts into cheer.
Prozac
Just a short time left before I step in the ring with a team that thinks they are the best. The team that I heard will be the team to beat the Meds. You know since I have been here all I hear every week is I am going to lose. So I am looking forward to proving these doubters wrong….again.
His words flow easily threw his thin lips. Each word is chosen carefully before spoken and each one cheerful.
Ed: I am one of those doubters.
David: I must say The Unholy Legion is good but I will never doubt any wrestler that steps into that ring.
Prozac
Unholy legion you want to do your dark acts, you want to play your scary games. Well games are what The Meds do best. Every team that ever stepped in the ring with the meds all left with a full prescription.
Prozac pauses and rests his voice for a minute. He absorbs the cheers from the crowd as he goes over in his mind what to say next.
David: He speaks the truth. The Meds have done a lot in their career.
Ed: Don’t remind me.
Prozac
We can be called clowns all day but look at you two. Thor, Shadow…you two walk around saying you can’t die or you would crucifix midgets…you two are the real clowns. That’s right no more fucking around. I am very proud of The Meds as a team and as wrestlers and I will be danmed if I will let some D and D playing people come in here and say they are the better team then The Meds. You two have been together for how long? And you already think your high and mighty.
Let me ask you something. What are you gonna do when Meds mania run wild…no that’s not it. Umm…oh DO YOU SMELLLLL….no that’s not it either. Oh I remember. Do you take your meds?
It is ok if you don’t buds because we will give you your meds that will last you the rest of your lifes.
Hidsweet words travel threw the arena and to each fans ears which makes them cheer louder then before.
Ritalin
Ok now for the real reason we are out here. We wanted to come out here and…dance!
Screams and whistles can be heard threw out the arena as the fans want to see this dance off.
David: What?
Ed: Oh god!
Ritalin
Alright so here we go.
David: Looks like we are in for more then we bargained for tonight folks.
Ritalin drops the mic and seconds later “Mr. Roboto” by Styx hits the P.A. Ritalin then begins to do the Robot
Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, domo...domo
Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, domo...domo
Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, domo...domo
Thank you very much, Mr. Roboto
For doing the jobs that nobody wants to
And thank you very much, Mr. Roboto
For helping me escape just when I needed to
Thank you-thank you, thank you
I want to thank you, please, thank you
Ed: Stop it for the love of god. Someone get security out here.
David: Come on you have to admit this is entertaining, and they are good dancers too.
Ed: This is a horrible day in XVI.
Now Prozac steps up and shoves Ritalin who stumbles back to the ropes. Prozac stands motionless in the middle of the ring as the music stops. Not more then a second after it stops “I’m To Sexy” by Right Said Fred hit the speakers. Prozac begins to bob his head up and down to the beat.
I'm too sexy for my shirt.
Too sexy for my shirt!
So sexy it hurts.
And I'm too sexy for my land.
Too sexy for my land!
New York and Japan.
Prozac takes off his shirt in one swift movement and tosses it into the crowd where some lucky fan catches the shirt and will take it home with them as a memory of the night; we really don’t want to think what else they will do with it late at night…
David: Lucky fan there.
I'm too sexy for your party.
Too sexy for your party!
The way I'm disco dancing.
Prozac now kicks off his shoes that land in the corner of the ring with soft sounding plops. He then undoes his pants and they fall to the ground around his ankles. He kicks them up and catches them before throwing them into the crowd as well where another fan catches that item. Ritalin gets a freaked out expression on his face. You hear girls screaming in the crowd as Prozac struts around the ring.
I'm a model, you know what I mean?
And I do my little my little turn on the catwalk.
Yeah on the catwalk, on the catwalk
yeah I do my little turn on the catwalk!
Prozac now begins to play with the waistband of his dark blue boxers. Ritalin knows what is coming and hops over the top rope to the outside of the ring.
Ed: NO!
David: He wouldn’t.
Prozac bends down pulling his boxers all the way off and exposing his naked body.
Ed: AHHHHHHHHHHH!
David: Oh no his is a family show!
The crowd is uncontrollably cheering and the women are deranged. Lights from the cameras light up the arena in some almost blinding flashes. Prozac stands up straight with a proud smile on his face.
The scene soon after fades to commercials.
