Goddammit! I lost another fucking match!
Johnny Kaos sits in his locker room shortly after his match. With him as always is Kori James, massaging his shoulders. Johnny slaps her hands away and stands up suddenly.
Where the fuck were you? I thought you were gonna have my back.
Kori starts to defend herself, but Johnny cuts her off.
I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean to scream at you, I'm just tired of this shit. You know what I want?
Kori just looks at him and shrugs her shoulders.
I want a one on one match, not some 3-Way or 6-Way bullshit. I want a chance to prove myself against one opponent, a chance to unleash hell without constantly watching my back.
Kori gives him a sympathetic look.
It's ok though. Even though I lost, there was some good news announced tonight. XVI will now have a new division and new title. They call it the NextGen title, and I want it.
Johnny runs his hands across his waist to gesture him wearing the title belt.
They say the NextGen division will be for up and coming stars to showcase their talents, right? Well no new star in this company has any more talent then I do.
Kori shakes her head in agreement.
You see, all of my losses have come in multi-man matches, no one has beaten me one-on-one. So as far as I am concerned, that makes me the best, because it takes at least 2 men to beat me. No one in this fed, not Johnny Mental or Black Jack or any of these other fuckers can hang with me one on one. That is why the "powers-that-be" keep booking me in these kind of matches, they know this as well as I do.
Johnny grabs Kori's hand and pulls her to his side.
So, Makaveli, Poison why don't you 2 grows some fucking backbones and give me a singles match for once. Hell, if you book me at A Fool's Revenge maybe people will actually care to watch. Because I am the man they pay to see, I am the Modern Day Outlaw.
Johnny pulls Kori into an intense kiss, then pulls her head away by the hair.
Ok, baby, let's go, I got some tension to release.
Kori smiles as the two leave the dressing room, hand in hand.
