The scene opens up to a beautiful day in Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio Texas. The sun is shining bright, and the clear blue sky is crystal clear. Hundreds of people have gathered in this place to see their familiy members, boy friends, girl friends, and loved ones graduate from Basic Military Training. People are filling the stands that lie in front of the bomb run, and parade field. Eight flights of new Airman stand of in the distance at a stern parade rest, feet shoulder length apart with the right and left hand resting on top of another behind the Airmans back. No one moves to scratch, adjust, wipe sweat away or even to get out of the fire ant hill that they just so happen to be standing in. The area becomes deathly quiet as the distinguished visitors are welcomed. Everyone stands up, and the Airman all go to attention and salute the colors as the National Anthem is played. Finally after what seems like an eternity the song is over and the guide on line command is given. The Guide's all take their post and the flights follow behind. A loud bass drum strikes, boom, boom, boom boom boom, boom, boom, boom. All the flights are now marking time, or marching in place as one by one they march to the bomb run to salute the flag and the commander. Everyone's face is serious and full of pride after being able to complete what some of their friends... their wingmen could not. All the flights have passed by and are ready to receive the oath of enlistment
Speaker~
Ladies and Gentleman before we have our young new Airman recite the Oath of Enlistment we would like to announce the separation of a great Troop, and a Great Troop. Staff Seargent Szaban, would you please come forward
Szaban marches infront of the Distinguished Visitors seating area and renders a salute as the Basic Training Commander steps down with a plaque and medal in hand
Speaker~
SSgt. Szaban is being honored with a Metorious Service Achievement Medal Second Oak Leaf Cluster for his hard work and dedication in re-enforcing our life style, and core values into new Airman. The commander pins the medal on Szaban's chest, they shake hands as Szaban is handed his plaque, then they salute one another. Szaban does an about-face and returns to his position in-front of his flight.
Speaker~
Now ladies and gentlemen please stand as we recite the Oath of Enlistment unto these new Airman
All of those in attendance move to their feet and watch as the Oath is read. The Airman all stand at attention with their right hand raised.
Speaker~

The Airmen have finished reciting and the crowd starts to clap
Speaker~
Congradulations and welcome to the blue, we have been waiting for you. Take Control of your flights, and parents, families and loved one's find your Airman
Szaban does an about-face and faces his flight
Szaban~
Well you little pukes, and turds have grown into Airman. Remember training is never done, so strive to be the best and you will be. You all have my number so if anytime during your career give me a call and I will do what I can to help you out. Well I guess this is it. Flight TEN-HUT!!!
The flight snaps to attention, Szaban looks over his last flight one more time
Szaban~
Go find your people... fall-OUT!
The flight does an about-face then all the troops scatter off to find their families. Szaban turns around and starts walking, until someone runs into his leg. Szaban looks down and see's his 4 year old daughter Rochelle. He smiles as he picks her up and looks to his left at his ex-wife Rachel
Rochelle~
Hi Daddy
Szaban smiles as he kisses her on the cheek
Szaban~
Hey baby, did you have a good day?
Rochelle shakes her head up and down as she is looking around, Szaban sets her down as she runs to the bleachers and starts playing
Rachel~
So you are sure that this is what you want? Back to the ring?
Szaban who was watching Rochelle running around on the bleachers looks over at Rachel
Szaban~
I've been gone for long enough, I've done my time here, I went to war and faught. I went on peace keeping missions, and I trained people. What else do I have left to do here? We both knew that this was not going to be a career for me. Just do my time and leave.
Rachel rolls her eyes as she walks over to Rochelle
Rachel~
It's your choice, but really what do you have left to do in the ring? Come on Champ really, the past few years have been peaceful for you and now you are going back and start that all back up again. At least when you where in Iraq you didn't have to worry about someone breaking into the house because you beat them in a match.
Szaban shakes his head as he gives Rochelle a hug and a kiss
Szaban~
Daddy has to go right now, but I'll see you in a few hours sweety. Whatever Rachel I get it, you left the ring, and you don't think I should be there. Oh well I am doing what I want and what I feel I need to do. So drop it, it is a dead topic.
Rachel glares at Szaban as she picks Rochelle up and starts walking to the parking lot
Rachel~
You do not have to be an ass your entire life
Szaban smirks
Szaban~
No I don't but it's fun. I thought that's why you were always a bitch.
Rachel gives Szaban the finger as she walks out of sight and Szaban starts looking around at the Airman still in the area. Szaban smiles at himself as he walks off and the scene fades
