Well thanks for teh compliment in your post but I think your wrong in some aspects, sure someone could pick up a book and read it, but couldnt someone switch to youtube and watch an in ring promo and copy that out?
Jordan thinks of original un-repetitive role plays each time wether it be concentrated soley(sp) on wrestling or not, this is his style and when he asked for feedback he asked for feedback on the actual roleplay e.g. how well it was written, punctuation, grammar etc. Not for a personal attack on his style (which many other roleplayers of today use) just because you dont agree with it.
Sure your entitled to an opinion but the type of opinion you gave was the wrong one, you ataacked the role play style not the role play itself.

Oh, and one more thing .. Calaz and I do basically the exact sametype of roleplays, so how can you say his are solid and mine aren't? If you look at some of Calaz' earlier stuff, he didn't even put the name of his opponent in sometimes. It was just backstory .. and you know what? HE WON! Because what he had written was better put together than his opponents. Just because you don't like the style, don't bash it. Feedback is wanting to know if you liked the roleplay, if there were any flaws and if so, where were they? Not to come in here and call my, and more people's, style "irrelevant and wordy."

Call me old school guys, i just like wrestling oriented roleplays. And yes, i know i myself am guilty of trying to get over with a backstory. Which failed...but then again i tried getting over with ring roleplays, and failed. Being the guy with probably the worst in ring record in XVI, but hey i love what i do, backstory or in ring oriented.
But to blackout....or dark shadow...or whatever you choose your name to be, hows about joining up on the roster? i'm sure anyone interested in doing more wrestling involved rps will learn some things. God knows i need to.
But to a more important topic, congrats! You all have for one reason or another, created the largest feedback topic in XVI history!

Calaz first of all don't come at me incorrectly like that, feedback is feedback on the whole thing so don't try and step out of line saying it was a personal attack this is all a game and I gave my input on how I view someone not playing it correctly. So if anybody here takes anything that gets said in a chatboard personally they need to think about their life-- deeply.
Jordan then don't come on here, if you think you are the greatest RPer here then do not ask for feedback and then moan and cry because someone did not play to your ego and tell you all those happy things you like to hear. Honestly I think that this whole feedback thing is kind of a joke for no reason other than to get - as Johnny said - people's post counts up. But hey whatever you are right Jordan you are magnificent and nobody on this planet can compare to you and yours.
What a joke. And honestly I was not even here to make people look dumb, but seriously who gets offended after you striaght out ask someone how they viewed your RP? Oh well let the kids play.

just to point it out so Jordan doesnt have to *and to raise my post count a bit more, heh* He had stated that other people have told him he was the greatest, as much as he would disagree. And no offense to Jordan, which i know he wont take any, but i know better than Jordan. They just keep on retiring. lol.

Darkside feedback isnt feedback, if a farmer asked you to give feedback on his cow milk and you talked about his goat is that feed back? yes, but of the wrong sort, all i said was that Jordan wasnt asking for feedback on his style of roleplay but the role play itself.
Now secondly, how is he not playing it correctly, or anyone else for that matter, he plays it his own way, it may not be your way but your way may be wrong to him, liek you have stated its a matter of opinion.
The personal attack came (i felt) after you had posted your initial feedback. when you proceeding in telling people who role play the way jordan does is wrong.
Personally s i may or may not have stated before, i think that RP's based soley on "Im here im gonna kick your ass deal with it" arnt as good as setting a scene first maybe away from the wrestling ring. After all if your posting a promo isnt that what they put in the results here?
What we right are not promo's for our matches so to speak, they are role plays and as long as they have something to do with the persons character or life I dont care wether there in a wrestling ring or a rubber dingey falling off the grand canyon that is the style chosen and that should be respected not told its "wrong" or not done correctly.
Jordan asks for comments and critiques, meaning general comments and constructive critisism, and you coming into this topic and telling him that basically everything he has done is worng because it didnt involve an interviewer or a ring then i fear that you are the one in the wrong and you are the one stepping out of line. I dont know where you came from but this is XVI and we have a little more respect for other people and there work.
If a role play sucks then we help to make it better by telling them to maybe add a little more description or more dialogue. Not putting people down because you dont agree with there style.
That is all... I'm done with this topic as i have nothing left to say to you.

Sorry for rearing my ugly, irrelevant head here again, but I do have a couple things left to say .. and then please someone lock this thread, please.
Blackout, Darkside or whatever you want to call yourself, as Corporal said, I didn't say I was the greatest. I, as well as Corporal, actually don't think that. I know many people who roleplay who I see as a higher up and strive to be on their level. I am my own biggest critic. My ego is non-existent.
I am not moaning and groaning because I heard something I didn't want to hear. I am moaning and groaning because you came on here and had the audacity, on your first post on this site, to INSULT my style of roleplaying, and by default, insulting me and everyone else who uses this style. If you ask me, YOU are the one who is incorrect in this thread.
I don't care what you came here to do, just don't insult me or anyone else in this fed anymore. As Calaz stated, we respect each other for the work we do, whether we like it or not. There are people on here that I don't like their styles, but I still critique them CONSTRUCTIVELY. I don't tell them that their roleplays are irrelevant.
Someone lock this now before someone kills someone.

Well unfortunately the only ones capable of locking threads are Chan and Dan. I dont know where Chan is, but Dan is on vacation for a bit, hence why i have the results and cards handled for now.
But Calaz....so you are saying that i can write a promo hanging from a dingey from the grand canyon? Freakin sweet!

Honestly you and Calaz are both coming off as whiny asses. Seriously if you felt that my feedback was out of line then you should have PMed me but neither of you choose to do that. So this can only be seen as both of you trying to defend my opinion of that style. Calaz think before you type. What in the hell does a section that has to do with telling a RPer what you think of their RP not have to do with style? Stop crying, if you don't like what I said then ignore me and don't encourage me to talk about things you take so personally.
