The History of Makaveli
The Birth of WCXF
Where it all started. The World Championship XTreme Federation. It's hard to believe building this Federation was the first time I've ever had anything to do with Feds. As soon as I heard about e-feds, I went straight to owning one, whereas other people join one and get used to something new they're trying out. At the time I wasn't aware that the average fed doesn't last more than a month. Basically I was one of the few lucky owners that got to see their own fed last more than two years. Though it was a pain in the ass trying to make everyone happy and try to do results every week, it was still one hell of a ride marking the highlights of people's virtual wrestling careers. It was the best experience I've ever had on the internet. YOU chose who was champion. YOU chose who won. And you know what was the best part? Your members went along with your desicions whether they liked it or not.
There were three owners when the WCXF first started. Myself and two other friends named Mario and Rocket. It shouldn't be a surprise seeing as I didn't have any connections to people who role played at the time.. They did. I would like to point out though, that I was the main owner. I made up the name, and I created the forum. Don't want you people getting it twisted and think I was just one of the owners in that Federation. We came up to a good start. We had made up the shows and already had enough members to start off the Federation the first week we created the Fed. The shows were named by yours truly. Side Effect and Underground Attitude. There were two men that picked up the Federation from its feet and carried it for two months. They were Steven White and C2E. From what I remember, Steven White became the General Manager for one of the shows. Both had a rivalry and ended up sharing the WCXF Title the first month. It's a long story but yeah, they ended up sharing the titles and [in character] they didn't like it. While all this was happening, Mario and I had fired Rocket from being Owner. We felt he didn't do as much work as Mario and I did. He RPed as a regular member from now on. Well, anyway, Steven White and C2E shared the titles and they were set to settle who was Champ at the PPV. Unfortunately, C2E was in the process of moving so on short notice, I had to choose someone to replace him in the main event. In comes the man that carried the WCXF for the rest of the two years.
This man was incredible. He clearly out role played Steven White. So, he wins the title at the PPV. You know how former champs are, though. They end up saying they are retiring or walking out of the federation since they have already accomplished what they wanted to accomplish in the fed. So he walks away. This new champ, however, wasn't like that. His name was The Corpse. He had broughten with him a stable called DOA. There was only two members in it, including himself, but it was one hell of a stable. Dark Halo was the other member. She is one of the best role players I've seen as well. You could clearly see why these two are a team. They had the same style, In a good way.
Did WCXF have a rival-fed? Hell yeah it did. What fed doesn't? It was called the JWA. I tried not to cause any trouble than what the members were already making, but things would just go down that made WCXF hate JWA even more. Anyway, I'll explain some of that later. For now, let me go through things that went on. Mario had quit, so I was the only owner now. C2E came back.. for a little while, then quit. There was still enough people to get the fed going, though, including DOA and two other members they invited, Franchise and Kle2. I was in a stable with them for a little while called PLM along with another member who went by Substance [who helped me with writing matches]. It was a nice little stable that lasted about two months. I forgot why we broke apart. that's not important, though.
The Fall of WCXF
Well, anyway, The WCXF opened in August 2003, and in June 2004 I decided to go on vacation. Since The Corpse and I have had a rivalry since he debuted, we decided it's best if we have a match at the PPV with my job on the line. I ended up losing so I lose my ownership to the WCXF. The plan was for me to get my job back when I came from vacation. When I lost, I had to choose who to take over so I leave one very loyal member in charge. I would have left The Corpse in charge, but he did not like that kind of responsibility. His name was Thantos. From what I hear, he was doing an excellent job being in charge. However, there was something very contraversial that happened while I was in Mexico. Somebody, apparently me, had taken over, or hacked, a Federation. When I came back, I I was told that due to me doing that, Thantos would not let me get my federation back. It was all confusing. Everyone had their own story. Thantos would tell me that wasn't true but why wasn't he giving me my federation back? It was all a blur that lead to the first Fall of the WCXF. The WCXF's first demise was on August of 2004.
Mak's "Life" After WCXF
Well, before I was 'fired' by The Corpse himself, I was called ReY2Jericho. The plan was to come back as Makaveli. Unfortunately, that didn't happen since the WCXF was dead. One of my most valuable members, Jihad, had created a Federation after WCXF died called the XWA . I never showed it, but I was jealous. I was jealous that he had taken everything I worked for [my members] and create a fed of his own with them. Members disagreed about me joining his federation, fearing I might hack it, but he was cool with me joining as long as I didn't start trouble. I joined and did what any member would do, role play. I was on a role. Winning every matches I was in.. it was a blast. Haha.. I remember I was up against a tough guy in there that I didn't think I had a chance of beating. But fortunately that week, he was going on a 2 day trip. I took advantage of those two days and ROLE PLAYED MY ASS OFF!! When he came back, he knew it was too late for him to catch up with me. I ended up beating him. Classic...
Unfortunately, the fed would be hacked on almost a weekly basis. I was a suspect, but why would I hack something I'm supporting? I'm not wasting my time role playing just to hack the fed, but the members would go through the hack and Jihad would rebuild it. In the mean time, my succesful winning streak was coming to good use in a tournament for the number one contender for the XWA Title. I was at the semi-finals and the only person I had to beat was Szaban to go to the finals. Unfortunately, it got hacked again and for the owner, that was the last straw. XWWA was no more.
What's next for me? I honestly didn't know. I disappeared from Feds for a while. I didn't keep in contact with anybody and I didn't feel like building up another fed at the time. Maybe because I didn't have any members that would join. My name was put to shame for a reason I will never know. Unfortunately, when I wanted to come back to feds I joined my rival fed, JWA. There I cut one of the best promos I will ever cut. The length.. the quality.. I doubt I will ever make a promo that good. JWA saw that me joining was no joke and they put me up against a tough guy named Tommy Polo. He ended up beating and for several reasons, too. He was a vet to start with. And also he caught me off guard since I wasn't online for about two days to role play, so just like I did with one of the members of XWA, he role played his ass off. I only had time to write one role play and it was a commercial-promo type role play. I lost and I left for reasons I don't remember after that.
The Resurrection
I had met up with an old WCXF member after I left JWA. His name was Dark Fox. Great guy he was. Me and him thought about rebuilding WCXF, and I went along with it. I called it WCXF: Resurrection. I was a HUGE fan of Pac at the time so I had to call it something Pac would say [heh]. The Fed's theme was dark and satanic-like. I remember I went as far as calling a show Pentagram or something like that. Unfortunately, the fed didn't live up to it's hype. Almost nobody joined so Dark Fox and I gave up on it.
WCXF: Reborn
I knew what I did wrong. I wanted fresh new members and I didn't bother to ask some of the original members to join. This time, when I asked a couple of people if they could join, I made sure I mentioned that there will be a reunion of the original members. They were excited and I ended up having my good 'ol original WCXF people. RKO, G-Dawg, Ironman, Thantos, and Pig Vomit to name a few. The Corpse and Dark Halo had not yet joined the fed when it opened, but eventually they did. It was a great run. Don't want to jot down anything specific but I want to say it was the clean version of the Original. No rivalry this time. JWA was gone half the time WCXF: Reborn was open. Instead of making the theme gothic-like, I made it back to normal just like the Original. Same shows, though I think there was only one show a week this time. It lasted a good year [I'm not sure..] but to be honest, I was exhausted. I didn't want to run a fed anymore. I'm not sure if Mr. Smith feels this way but one day you just don't feel like running a fed, then the other you do. It's hard to explain. I was caught in that moment. The fed was going slow and I wasn't putting results on time. Eventually it got quiet, but with still enough members to keep the fed going. I wanted to take a break though. So I told everyone I was closing the fed and it'll reopen the month after that with a WCXF One Night Stand. There were no results, but the ONS was posted. People role played for it, but I didn't put ONS Results up and never bothered to let members know why. I just let WCXF creep in to a silent death. One last silent death...
The last show of WCXF was a Side Effect. That Side Effect it was me against The Corpse in a Buried Alive Match. X-ecutioner interfered and caused me the loss. We were planning on feuding, but it never happened since WCXF had shut down. This marked the last time I would wrestle for a long time, and the last time The Corpse would wrestle as well. The Corpse was in the One Night Stand PPV, but for some reason he didn't role play. He was never heard from again and to this point I don't have a clue what he's been up to.
