DAMNIT MAN!! Surprisingly enough I went to the WWE.com website to find out what kind of stuff they had in there.. and I saw a Benoit photo in the front page, but didn't pay attention to it much.. then on the side it says "See one of History's best champs" or whatever.. and i was like hmm is it Benoits birthday? Sure enough I read the big photo talking about his sad demise. I will truly miss him. He is one of the wrestlers I enjoyed seeing wrestle and I was happy to see him moved to ECW.. As I watch it more than Smackdown. I hope Benoit is in a far better place right now.. I'll be missing you man!!

I just got home from work, Opened up my Yahoo Messenger and had like 20 messages telling me he died. So, Of course I went looking for more information and found this...
FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife, and son were found dead Monday and police said they were investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide.
Detective Bo Turner told television station WAGA that the case was being treated as a murder-suicide, but said that couldn't be confirmed until evidence was examined by a crime lab.
The station said that investigators believe the 40-year-old Benoit killed his wife, Nancy, and 7-year-old son, Daniel, over the weekend, then himself on Monday. A neighbor called police, and the bodies were found in three rooms.
Lead investigator Lt. Tommy Pope, of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department, told The Associated Press the deaths were being investigated as homicide, and that the causes of death awaited autopsy results on Tuesday. Pope said the bodies were discovered about 2:30 p.m., but refused to release details.
The house is in a secluded neighborhood set back about 60 yards off a gravel road, surrounded by stacked stone wall and a double-iron gate. On Monday night, the house was dark except for a few outside lights. There was a police car in front, along with two uniformed officers.
Benoit was a former world heavyweight and Intercontinental champion. He also held several tag-team titles during his career.
"WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family's relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy," the federation said in a statement on its Web site.
Benoit was scheduled to perform at the "Vengeance" pay-per-view event Sunday night in Houston, but was replaced at the last minute because of what announcer Jim Ross called "personal reasons."
The native of Canada maintained a home in metro Atlanta from the time he wrestled for the defunct World Championship Wrestling.
The WWE canceled its live Monday Night RAW card in Corpus Christi, Texas, and USA Network aired a three-hour tribute to Benoit in place of the scheduled wrestling telecast.
"My relationship with Chris has extended many years and I consider him a great friend," Carl DeMarco, the president of WWE Canada, said in a statement. "Chris was always first-class -- warm, friendly, caring and professional one of the best in our business."
That is sad, Just very very sad.

Dead-fucking-impossible. No way.
Apparently, I read on WWE.com that he was supposed to be at a live event Saturday night aswell, but cancelled at the last minute. I can't believe this .. Benoit killing his wife and kid, and then himself? No, no way.
You will be missed Benoit, you will be missed.

The facts say otherwise....but i cannot come to believing that this is possible. When they come out with a reason why he did it, i will believe it, but until then, i refuse consider this news.

I also do not see Benopit as a murderer, especially to his youngest child which he showed great pride in.
Possibly scenario i can think of is his wife phoned him during vengeance saying there is a problem and Daniel had stopped breathing, there is teh emergancy, then when Benoit got there his wife had died... im thinking maybe carbon monoxide piosoning, it was a new house they had just moved into possibly not been checked over for any leaks, Chris seeing what had happened decided life was not worth living and unfortunatley took his own, or the poison got him, but until autopsy results say otherwise I believe Chris Benoit is not a murderer.
EDIT:
from reading the statment on WWE.com i retract what i have said above.
Although i may not like what Benoit did in his final moments with us I still respect him for what he did for wrestling.
I believe that he was a good man but let his emotions get the better of him, i suppose we will know more when more is revealed. I dont want to believe he is a killer but so far the evidance leans toward that.

Like i said, the evidence points otherwise. But from what i know of, Chris Benoit was not a violent, unstable man. He was down to earth and warm hearted. I want a motive or a chemical imbalace to explain this, because i do not believe that Chris Benoit could do something like this.

His wife filed a divorce against him a couple of years back, fearing for the safety of herself and her son, Daniel. She has reported anger issues and an unstable temper from Chris Benoit and this may have played a role in the double murder-suicide.
Sorry to say Corp .. but it looks like he did it. I don't want to believe it either ..

And you all thought i was sick for having my msn name as it was. I'm sorry people, But yea, bentiot may have been a great wrestler and revolutionized the wrestling world, but the guy is a murderer. Why should he rest in peace for taking the lives of his innocent family?
If it was anyone else who had done that, you people would be spitting on their grave, yet instead because it was someone in the limelight and someone who practiced a sport you all watch, you mourn him?
I just don't understand
What i do think however is this may have had something to do with Eddie's death. Think about it... To take your life is a mortal sin, and it has been said that next to the bodies of his wife and child were bibles. But there was no bible next to Chris' body. So traumatized and annoyed with the death of one of his best friends, the guy in my opinion, hasn't had the same drive or the same spark he used to have when in the wrestling business. And for him to kill himself two years later?
Taking his wife and kids with him might have been something to do with him wanting to spend his life with his family. His wife getting the divorce or whatever, by killing himself and her may have been his way of immortalizing their relationship so they may never be separated. And refusing to leave his family behind to deal with the grief and the mortality of losing Chris bentiot would be the only option in the eyes of a man who See's no other future for himself but death. Maybe he wanted out of the wrestling business... Maybe he didn't want to live any longer... If he were to just kill himself, his family would have been dragged into wwe, much like eddies.
Having Eddie's death constantly thrown into his face at every corner he turns round too would be completely agonizing for any person who truly knew the man. Leaving the wwe would mean he would always have that constantly thrown into his face everywhere he goes.
None of the above is fact. What IS Fact however is that Chris bentiot STRANGLED and HOG TIED his wife, SMOTHERED his son possibly in a choke hold according to an article I've read And then HUNG himself in his weight room. His two dogs were roaming around outside freely, and there were NO SIGNS of forced entry, NO SIGNS of STRUGGLING with his wife or child.
Believe it or not, say what you want... But i believe anyone is capable of murder... Anyone can have a motive or even a time when they will just snap... So don't feed me that bullshit that Chris bentiot wasn't the type of guy to commit a murder. You didn't know the way the guy thinked, you were NOT in his head you did not live his life.

Just watched Sky Sports News and they had a story on there. It is said that Steroids WERE actually found at his home and they think it is possible that they had some part to play in this.
I know believe that Benoit did this, he murdered his wife, he murdered his child and then took his own life leaving his other 2 children parentless. For this I can not respect the man, but for what he has done for wrestling and in my opinion he was the best wrestler of my lifetime and maybe even wrestling lifetime, I must respect him for the side of him I saw and knew.

Personally, I never cared for Benoit. I mean, I will give him this... The guy, Was an incredible wrestler, Maybe even the best ever. But as for charisma, I found the guy just about as exciting as sack of rocks (Just my opinion, No one blast me for it). But the thing that really gets ME about this, Is the death of his wife "Nancy", Who was my all time favorite womens wrestler/manager/whatever. I doubt a lot of you know this but "Nancy" was the one time girlfriend/wife of Kevin Sullivan. I have used Nancy in DOZENS of "Jihad's" rps. But I never called her Nancy, I always called her "Angel" because when she was with Kevin, Her name was "The Fallen Angel". Hell... I used her as Jihad's manger, Girlfriend... Yea, Have used her in rps countless times... Actually *And this is a bit weird*... I dont know if any of you read the post I did earlier this week called"Origins". Anyway, I used her in THAT very post, Just called her Angel. The weird thing about that post, I was talking to Halo about the death of Kevin Sullivan and how "Angel" left after his death, And now... Nancy/Angel is dead. Anyway... I just always really liked her and Ill miss her.
