Scene fades in on the inside of what looks to be a gym, loud bangs of metal hitting metal echo off the white walls. There are men on weight machines grunting at each rep, and there are women doing yoga on the mats on the other side of the room. In the far end of the building there is a set up ring, on the apron of the ring stands Ritalin, and in the ring Prozac is locked up with an unknown man. They fight for control, sweat runs down their bodies and shines in the bright lighting of the room. Veins start to pop out of their muscles, and their faces are red, then suddenly Prozac releases one of his arms and drops to a knee, then flips the man over in a fireman’s carry takedown, Prozac does not let go of the man’s other arm after the flip, instead he wraps his legs around the man’s arm and next locking in a triangle choke. The man violently squirms in attempt to get loose of the hold, but Prozac grits his teeth and tightens it up. The man can not take any more after several minutes and after draining all his energy he taps out. Prozac breaks the hold and swiftly gets to his feet. A light clapping sound is heard as Ritalin shows his respect for both men. Prozac extends his arm to the man, whom in return reaches out with his from the ground, Prozac helps the man up and they shake hands for a moment. Both men are breathing heavy and you can hear faint pants escaping their mouths.
Prozac
Good job bro.
Man
Thank you.
The man slowly limps out of the ring and Ritalin throws me a white towel.
Ritalin
Nice job man, keep at it and eventually there wont be anyone that can slow you down.
I wipe my face with the towel, feeling its soft surface caress my face and taking the sweat with it.
Alexia
Very nice!
I spin on a heel at the sound of a familiar voice, a lovely female voice that brought a huge smile to my face and when I spun and show Alexia standing there my smile only grew.
Prozac
Thank you.
I take a few steps forward towards the ropes.
Prozac
What brings you here?
Alexia
I was in the neiborhood and figure I would stop by. If you don’t want me here I’ll go.
Prozac
No! Don’t go.
I place both my arms leaning on the top rope in front of me. My breathing calmed down and any pain I was just in vanished, not even leaving a trace of damage. We stare at each other for a minute before I break the silence by clearing my throat before I spoke.
Prozac
Oh this is Bert or Ritalin as you have seen him on TV.
Ritalin
Hey!
Alexia
Hey nice to finally meet you.
Ritalin
You too, what’s up?
Alexia
Oh I just stopped by to see if Rob was training as hard as he told me he would.
We all laugh conjointly for a brief second. Then I see her cast he eyes back over to me.
Prozac
Oh I have been. You want to see for yourself?
I reach over the top rope, extending my hand to her, and give a little wink with my left eye.
Alexia
No, that’s ok I am fine just watching.
She shakes her head silently laughing
Prozac
Oh come on I will show you a few basic moves, I’ll go easy on you. What are you scared?
At the sound of me saying that I show her smile almost fade away.
Alexia
I’m not scared.
She steps forward, reaching up to grab my hand, her warm smooth skin pressed against mine as she tightly grips my hand. I help her up on to the apron, and then I hold the ropes open for her as she steps in. We then walk and stand in the middle of the ring looking at each other.
Prozac
Alright, I am going to come at you, I am going to try and grab your head, now when I reach to grab you I want you to flip me.
Alexia
Flip you?
I nod, it was a basic move I figured she wont me able to throw my weight but it would still be fun. I take a deep breath before talking again.
Prozac
Yeah like an arm drag, just grab my arm with both of your hands then with all your strength turn and pull me over you.
Alexia
Alright!
She answers with a cute little giggle
Prozac
Don’t worry I’ll go easy on you.
I take a step forward reaching out, but going slow not to scare her, when my arm was almost at her head she swiftly reaches up grabs my arm, spinning flipping me over her. I hit the ground hard with a loud “thud” and a painful grunt. I hear Ritalin let out a small gasp then a light chuckle as I lie there staring up at the ceiling wondering what the hell just happened. I tilt my head slightly to the side where I see Alexia standing there smiling at me.
Prozac
Was that beginners luck or did you not tell me something?
Alexia
I might have forgotten to mention something.
Prozac
Do tell.
I fold my hands behind my head and look up at the lights again as I wait to hear her story.
Alexia
Not much to tell, I love wrestling, I wanted to be a wrestler. I even took the classes, but some things in my life forced me to put that dream on the backburner.
I sit up with a big grin on my face and turn my head to her.
Prozac
You’re a wrestler?
I push myself to my feet, and watch her as she nods.
Prozac
Well then lets she what you got.
She laughs as I take a step towards her, she stooped her delightful laugh when she realized I wasn’t joking when I put my hands on her shoulders firmly and oushes her into a corner.
Prozac
Come on, don’t be scared.
I wink at her when I said that, I knew that bothered her from when I asked if she was scared before, and sure enough it worked this time to. Her face turned to a more serouis and and angry, she knocked my hands off her with hers, then in one sift movement she got behind me and rolled me up in a school boy. Bert counted…1…I kicked out! We both got to our feet fast and she stayed on the offensesive by trying to kick me, but I grab her foot.
Prozac
To slow!
She growled at me then jumped up with her other leg to try and kick me in the face, but I ducked making her miss kicking over my head. I let go of her other leg and watches her hit the ground face first with a little painful moan that scared me.
Prozac
Oh crap, are you ok? I’m sorry.
I jump over near her checking if she is ok, I extend my arm down for her. She looks up, and she almost scared me, she had fire in here eyes. She got up ignoring my hand.
Alexia
Don’t stop now.
I smile before I get back into stance. I charge her, but she rolls out of the way gracefully. She was fast; I am also to happy right now to even perform my moves better. I jump at her once again grabbing her shoulders, she quickly knees me in the midsection which almost knocked the wind out of me, she then gripped her arm tightly around my next and took he over hard with a headlock takedown. She holds my head and stays on me. Before I even know what just happened I hear Bert’s voice say “3”. She lets go and gets to her feet leaving me laying on the ground with a complete look of confusion on my face. You would think my pride would have been killed but I was still to happy to think about it.
Alexia
I am going to get a drink. Thanks for the game.
She laughs and winks at me playfully as she climbs out of the ring. Bert who has gotten in the ring walks over to me and leans over.
Ritalin
You just had your ass kicked.
Prozac
I think I’m in love.
I spring to my feet and wait in the ring for Alexia to get back, and hopefully she will give me another “game”.
