Another night of me walking the streets with a lot on my mind. I win finally, A DQ not the way I wanted but a win none the less. Well anyway I find myself walking down the same old road as last week going to that bar again, to see her? Maybe, just hope she is working tonight. Yeah I am interested ok? Shut up!
Once inside the bar I noticed it is almost as crowed as last week. I scan over near the bar area, there she was attending to customers. I fight my way threw the crowd till I reach the bar; I plop my ass on a stool and pretend to eye the liquor on the wall but peeking out the corner of my eye to see if she notices me. I see her look over quick then turning her head back to a customer before doing a double take swinging her head back around towards me. She finishes pouring the drink for the customer then I see her spin on a heel and make her way over to me. She stops right in front of me, her chest now in the way of where my eyes were, but hey I am not complaining. I gaze up slowly to meet those friendly eyes and that cheerful smile. She places her hands one the bar top in front of me leaning forward an inch letting the smell of her perfume tickled my nostrils.
Alexia
Back again?
She spoke in a low sweet tone, the cheerfulness of her words match her smile.
Prozac
Didn’t I say I would be?
I snap back quickly in a low tone matching hers.
Alexia
I suppose you did.
She tilts her head to the left slightly, her eyes gazing into mine; they were eyes I could get lost in.
Alexia
Congratulations by the way.
I raise an eyebrow in a questioning way.
Alexia
Your win. I managed to see your match.
She watched my match; this brought a smile to my face that was brighter then the sun itself.
Prozac
Oh, thank you not really the way I wanted to win but a wins a win.
Alexia
You’re absolutely right, don’t be down because of a DQ, enjoy the win you deserve it.
She raises her arm and flicks her long brown hair back from her face
Prozac
Your right lets celebrate.
She nods her head once in agreement.
Alexia
What should we drink?
Prozac
I have a better idea, what time do you get off?
She leans in closer to me folding her arms on the bar top.
Alexia
What do you have in mind?
We stare at on another and we both smirks almost evil like.
Scene flashes over to blackness, all you hear are voices.
Alexia
Oh god I never had one so big.
Prozac
Mmm, tastes good?
Alexia
Mmm, yes
Prozac
Whoa, oh I hope that doesn’t stain.
The scene fades back in; Prozac and Alexia sit at a table outside on this sunny day of a restaurant, with a huge sub lying on the table top. Alexia is using a napkin to wipe up mayo that she spilt on her pants.
Prozac
Well congrats you’re worse then a child while eating.
Alexia
Oh shut up!
A little later on and the table is clear, Prozac is sitting straight up with is arms crossed over his best, Alexia has her legs crossed and her hands resting on her lap, both of them still with big smiles on their faces.
Alexia
So what got you into wrestling?
Prozac
What did? I don’t know it was always a dream of mine since I can remember. My mother loved wrestling and she use to sit me on her lap since I was born and made me watch it with her. I don’t really remember it though being that young or even know what it was. But from the first time when I didn’t know what it was I had this thing, I just had an urge to be a wrestler.
I was the typical kid, I wanted to be a fireman or astronaut…hell I even wanted to be a construction worker, but above all that I wanted to be a wrestler. All the other kids laughed at me of cause but I never paid it any mind.
Alexia
Funny isn't it? They laugh at your dreams, and yet because you stuck to it, you're not in some damn diner picking up tips for wiggling your ass the right way... you managed to actually do it.
Prozac
It wasn’t easy though. Growing up I looked into wrestling and noticed that training cost money, money I didn’t have. I had no farther, and my mother had a crappy job. The money we had all went to bills, then as I got older I figured it would be ok because then I would have a job so we would have more money. I was wrong, I got older things got more expensive and I also ended up with a crappy job so again all our money went to bills. The only extra money that we started to get was when Bert and I became 18, we started to go into town where seventeen year olds and younger hung out, and be bought them cigarettes, lotto tickets, and porn.
Alexia
Oh how nice.
She spoke with a sarcastic tone, but she couldn’t hold in the minuscule laughter that followed it.
Prozac
Thank you. I didn’t do it all the time though, if that makes it any better. But even with that the training was just to much and it seems so far out of my reach. Then one day we came across flyers of a training gym in my town, so I said why not call find out some stuff? It turns out this place was around for awhile and the man loved wrestling with a passion and he trained his students for free, the man had money I guess he didn’t want any more, but anyway I thought this was fate, a gift from god. I went there the next day signed up and bam, few years later here I am. That’s pretty much my life in a nut shell.
Alexia
Well, at least you've hit the big times, you're envied by thousands, millions... heck, maybe billions. Congratulations you’ve earned it.
Prozac
Yeah, now I just have to earn my place in wrestling, which I hope to do this week.
A imperceptible tapping sound can be heard as I bang tap my foot lightly on the hard ground.
Alexia
Yeah I saw, your fatal four way tag match and the Ultimate Assault match.
Prozac
Yeah, I don’t know which I want to win most.
Alexia
Win them both.
She has a straight face so I can't tell if she is serious or joking.
Prozac
I will try
Alexia
Don’t try…do!
She was serious; there was not a indication of joking in the words that came from her full lips, which were colored a light red today.
Prozac
You make I sound easy.
Squinting my eyes as I question her, I can’t read her she’s has a lot of mystery to her, but I am eager to find out as much as I can.
Alexia
Well I'm not saying it won't be hard, but look what you went through to get here. You work just as hard for this then you can succeed here too. Have you been training?
Prozac
Everyday!
Alexia
When are you training again? And where?
Prozac
Tomorrow, at the gym right down the street.
She still had on that same straight face as she questioned me, what is it that she wants to find out. I do not have anything to hide so she will not have a difficult time finding her answers.
Prozac
Why did you want to know?
Alexia
No reason.
She looked down towards her lap; she became silent for a minute then arose to her feet abruptly.
Alexia
I have to get going
I stand; you can hear the scrap marks on the ground from the chair that gets pushed back from my legs.
Prozac
Oh alright. Thank you for coming with me.
Alexia
No thank you for inviting me and treating me too. I had a nice time I would love to do it again. Just promise you will train extra hard tomorrow.
Prozac
Yes ma-am…
Before I was able to get another word out she gracefully spun, her hair flew up with the turn then it fell back down into place nicely. After a few steps away she turned her head back around locking eyes with me once again. She gave me one last smile before disappearing around the corner.
