"Yes I can be there in a few minutes. I just needs to finish the paperwork on my new ride."
Thor was on the phone with a member of the forensics department. As he talks he is slowly finishes sighing the papers for his new black straight out the factory Hummer. He had already handed over a check to pay for the full price of the vehicle so it was his out right with out any worries about making care payments.
"Yeah give me fifteen minutes tops...Alright I will see you then."
Closes his cell phone and puts it in his pocket as he fights the urge to roll his eyes. Damn these people where annoying. Then again he supposed they were only trying to do their job. Finally he is given the keys to his new Hummer and he leaves to go talk to the idiots at the Forensics department.
After a short drive he pulls into the police station and parks then heads up to the door. At the reception desk he rings the bell and waits for a reply.
"Can I help you Sir?"
The female police officer behind the asks in a rather bored uninterested leave me alone tone of voice. Thor sighs softly and resists the urge to throttle her while rolling his eyes. All the whole he is thinking "If you couldn't help me I wouldn't have rung the damn bell."
"Yes can you tell Mr. Howard in Forensics that Thor is here to see him."
Watch the woman nod and then goes to sit down to wait for Mr. Howard. Several minutes later a short busy looking man comes out and leads him to a back room.
"Well Thor I am Mr. Howard and I can tell you that someone connected a bomb to the battery of your Hummer.'
Nods sagely acting as if this was all news to him while he resisted the urge to roll his eyes and throttle the man for wasting his time with some so insanely obvious.
"You are lucky you weren't in the vehicle when it exploded."
Forces a smile as he nods again while suppressing the urge to shout at the man. "No fucking duh. Anything useful you can tell me?" As he wait for the man to tell him something useful about the explosion.
"Who ever put the bomb under your hood wanted you dead."
Thor just shakes his head at the evident stupidity of the officer and turns walking out of the station. Walks out to his Hummer and nods as he gets in and then drives home. Once in the driveway he pulls out his cell phone and again calls the insurance company. After the rigga-morale of being put on hold after push what seemed be dozens of routing buttons he finally gets a claims representative.
"Yes I am calling in regards to claim number 65340A-H21....I would like to add more information....Yes someone placed a bomb under the hood of my Hummer and it exploded when I unlocked the doors with my auto unlock button....Alright I can wait."
Sighs as he is put on hold. This was really starting to piss him off. all he knew is that someone had blown up his Hummer several night before and no one had any clue who had done it. Not to mention the obvious stupidity of some of the people he had been forced to deal with was getting on his nerves.
"Yes I am still here....I will have the police department fax you some pictures....I can wait while you transfer me."
Grimaces thoughtfully as he is transfered to a supervisor. The was getting on his nerves and someone was going to pay when this was over.
"Yes I am here my claim number is 65340A-H21...What do you mean that my policy doesn't cover murder attempts?....You have got to be kidding me....No where in the written policy does it say that....Good day you will be hearing from my lawyer."
Slams his phone shut and sighs in frustration. This was just great. Someone was out to kill him and now his insurance company was refusing to honor his policy. The last few days had been rather interesting to say the least. He suddenly smalls as he realizes just how he could vent.
"Prozac and Ritalin as you can see I have not had a good last couple of days. Some attempted to kill me and I am now pissed from dealing with all the stupid people I have had to deal with lately. You two will be in the right place for me to take out my frustrations.
Also I am wondering if you are having fun with you midgets. I would get my own but they would only end up in crucifixes in the backyard in the state I am in. Anyway see you two losers on Side Effect when Shadow and I rip you apart."
