Jason Cane shoves an unlucky security guard out of his path as he, Johnny Kaos, and the lovely Kori James make their way through the backstage area. Kori, wearing a neck-brace, steadies herself in Johnny's arms, almost losing her balance.
We're almost there baby, just a little a further.
No sooner do those words escape the mouth of the Modern Day Outlaw than their destination comes into sight. The trio round a corner and find themselves standing in front of the office of XVI Chairman Makaveli. Jason, not even bothering to knock, storms through the door, Johnny following closely with the injured Kori in tow. The door slams shut behind them, but muffled voices can be heard from within.
Several minutes later, the three emerge from Mak's office, a content smile on each of their faces. An XVI interviewer comes upon them and begins asking questions.
I see you just left Makaveli's office, mind if I ask you what you were talking about with him?
Johnny, always one to have something to say, steps forward, his smile widening.
Sure, you can ask all the questions you want, but don't count on getting the answers you want. All I will tell you is that I have a nice little surprise in store for that woman-abusing asshole Thor and his big dumb friend Shadow.
Johnny, Jason, and Kori all share a knowing laugh.
What kind of a surprise, will you give us no hint.
Johnny, now getting aggravated by the interviewer, rolls his eyes.
Now why the hell should I give these miserable little fans any hint, where's the fun in that? I will reveal all at this week's Side Effect that's all. This interview is over.
Jason muscles his way between the two, giving the interviewer a look that sends the young man scrawling in search of another less-dangerous story.
You hear that Thor? I got a little retribution in store for you. Payback is a bitch.
With that, Outlaw Inc. walk down the corridor talking among themselves.
