PROMO
Funny How? Funny Like A Clown?
The crowd is growing restless as time passes, no promos no matches. Wondering what they wasted their money on shouting random obscenities and starring down into an empty ring their patience grows dim. The crowd is booing and chanting ‘this sucks,’ as almost instantly the XVItron lights up and the arena is consumed by enthusiastic cheers.
Voice~
Home is where the heart is? Whose heart would want to claim a place like this?
The sun is setting over the urban horizon, and the moon is slowly and quietly coming into view seemingly on the opposite skyline. The tree branches bend and wave as the gusts of wind pass through them. The sound of cars peeling out can be heard, as horns honk and random shouting can be heard.
Voice~
Gutter? What do most people truly know or understand what it truly means to come from the gutter? Not many. Not many can say where they came from without adding a storyline or making who they are seem interesting, when they really just are not.
The man’s voice carries a deep tone with it and as he continues to narrate the story, he passes by the camera walking along nearing a beaten down looking underpass.
Voice~
Wrestler, superstar, icon, main eventer, champion whatever they call themselves it is a lie. Pretender or illusionists is really the path they should try to take because atleast that way they could savor respect. They call this a world of sports entertainment, entertainment? Sports?! Has everyone in the world gone crazy? Everyone out there is just an actor, everyone that comes here is not truly who they say they are.
Litter fills the sides of the cracked roads as half-empty trash cans are sprawled about on their side. Rodents and stray animals occasionally come into view then disappear. Card board boxes taped together and those without tape are just forced into one another. Shoes and socks and hats can be seen strewn about by various boxes.
Voice~
Never have any of them lived or walked into a place that had this feel. Had this type of dog eat dog. People here in this company try to talk like they know what being hungry for success is, like they would even know hungry if they met an Eritrean.
The man who is donning a raggedy hoody pulled over his head, grey baggy sweat pants, and bloody beaten up wheat colored timberland boots stops and stares at the sky. The man then laughs out loud.
Voice~
It's funny when you think about it really. How everyone is the best here, everyone was that champion or will be the champion. It is just funny to see in a league of hall of famers there is only one that does not say he should hold THE title. Just funny to keep hearing time and time again who thinks they are the best and who is going for who.
The man walks through the underpass where barrel fires are ignited and burning steadily keeping those that inhabit the area warm in the brisk late winter night.
Voice~
I as well as the rest of the fans of the XVI understand what it is like to be from a humble background. When you can walk under an underpass and see a place where you once slept, and others whom have made something out of their lives once slept that is when you know about living.
Standing in one spot looking around then moving to a certain spot near the cement wall of the underpass the man smirks.
Voice~
Look around and see this place. See what it is like to really come from nothing. The barrel fires, the garbage, the smell of dirt, crap, and piss. Most of these people haven't bathed in months. Well as I was saying before there is one who is not fabricated amonst you, you at the XVI one of the greats once slept in this very spot. From no food, no home and no clothes to the top of a business and industry. Never question the drive of a person that has already shown what limits they can exceed and how far they can go to become the number one.
The man starts laughing again as he points to a scribbled name that has been engraved in the wall, and the name faintly reads Szaban
Voice~
Some people are too quick to look past their opponets, and now I have a hunch that one person a convict if you will is going to pay for not knowing what he has forgotten to focus on.
The scene fades back to the arena and the crowd is intently locked in on the XVItron

appears across the XVItron, The crowd explodes into '"Szaban" chants as they are awaiting the entrance of the Champion of Champions... Szaban
SZABAN
appears across the screen The crowd screams and cheers as the name apears on the XVItron, The arena is entire blacked out but then a lighter is lit then another one, and at first it seems one by one, but suddenly the entire arena is lit up by thousands of individual lighters. The beginning part of Eminem's "Till I Collapse"; blares throughout the PA system and the blue neon lights slowly illuminate the arena
'Cause sometimes you feel tired,
feel weak, and when you feel weak,
you feel like you wanna just give up.
But you gotta search within you,
you gotta find that inner strength
and just pull that shit out of you and get that motivation to not give up and not be a quitter,
no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse.
Ed~
I can't wait Dave finally after this long week, and that promo we finally get to have Szaban down here front and center.
David~
Yeah Yeah whoopidiedo! I can hardly contain myself as Szaban prepares to make a dramatic entrance and say 'blahblahblah love me and chant my name blahblahblah."
Ed's head slowly turns as he is questioned by David's sarcasm.
Ed~
Have you ever been diagnosed with being bi-polar?
David~
No I don't think so..? Szaban is great isn't he Ed?
Ed holds back a chuckle as he shakes his head and tries to focus on the upcoming ring visit by Szaban.
David~
You ask the strangest questions at weird times Ed.
Ed~
I am going to make sure you get some good help Dave, but that will have to wait because ladies and gentlemen here comes the MAN!!!
"Till I Collapse" Explodes out of the speakers and the crowd manages to be heard roaring with cheers over the music
Ed~
From a draw, to a special guest ref job you have still got to question the amount of ring rust that Szaban still might have as he has not competed in an all out tough match but I think Convict might be able to give him a challange.
Szaban makes his way down the ramp to the chorus of cheers and chants
David~
Ring rust is going to be a big factor. Szaban just has to make sure that his head is in this match and not towards the Pay Per View, or on his injured cousin Wolfe.
Szaban walks up the metal stairs and through the ropes. Szaban goes to all four turnbuckles as pyros explode behind him. Szaban stands in the middle of the ring looking all around as the fans are going wild and chanting his name. Szaban picks up the mic that is lying at his feet and raises his hand in the air. The crowd falls silent as Szaban looks over them one last time and he raises the mic to his mouth
Szaban~
Boston Massachusetts, your baby boy is home!!!
The silent crowd burst into screaming chants and ear drum pounding chants. Szaban smirks as he signals for the to be quiet again.
Szaban~
And it is good to be here, but now let's get right into business and let's talk about Convict. Beast I do have one little beef to pick with you though. When you came out here and cut your virgin promo it was all well and good until.. well until you overlooked the most important part of your career. I mean you think that you have the chance to be a champion, haha kid please as someone who knows all about what that takes and it just is not you. The biggest problem that you are going to run into in your career- other than just not being good- is that you messed up really big when you overlooked your opponet. And trust me kid I am not the one to overlook, and if you think that Mental and those hasbeens over in the VnB are something to fear. Then kid I just don't know where you have been for the past ten years.
Szaban licks his lips as he looks at his hand and then around the arena.
Szaban~
Convict, Beast, turd, whatever you want me to call you does not really matter, listen you have already cost yourself this match by seeing a title that is not involved with the match by mentioning names that can not help you against Szaban. This is going to be your biggest match ever, and you don't even realize how you have already cost your self everything.
Snap rotates his neck and his shoulders trying to relieve some stress from his tense muscles
Szaban~
Jihad, Steven Richards, Franchise, Omarion, The VnB as a whole, I have gone to war with them all I have been there and done that and when I choose to make a return to the ring it was to help people like you reach the top. So now in order to get to the top you are going to have to go toe to toe with Szaban and when he shows you what the glory is like he will take you and your career and....
The crowd pops and screams out DROPPED but Szaban smiles as he shakes his head
Szaban~
Hold on wait a second, I am not quite done talking to this kid yet.
The crowd cheers as Szaban looks around feeling the excitment building around him and the aura of the estatic crowd builds his ego just slightly
Szaban~
Haha, oh Convict it has been a long time since someone did not know what they were getting into with me, and I am actually happy about this. Not even disrespected because now I know your hopes are high because you think that you are going to the top of the business well you are going to get a hard lesson learned and when it is all said and done you, your hopes, and your dreams are all going to come crashing down as you get DROPPED!!!
Szaban throws the mic down as the crowd explodes chanting his name and he exits the ring making his way to the back as 'Till I Collapse' plays throughout the building
Ed~
Ring rust or not, the confidence is still there and this is shaping up to be one hell of a match.
Szaban stops at the top of the ramp as he turns around one more time and raises his hand over his head as he has so many times before, ready for victory. Thousands of cameras capture the image as the flashes finally stop Szaban disappears behind the camera
