Outside the gates of a prison, the fifteen foot high gate with razor wire on top slowly opens up, the camera slowly moves forward to another set of gates, the sounds of the first one shut, and slowly the inner gate opens. The camera pans to what can only be referred to as the yard. Several inmates stand around watching ever vigilant, a few play a game of basketball. The camera moves forward and into one of the cell blocks.
The cells are stacked three high, all of the cell doors are closed with no one inside. In the middle on the second floor a lone cell is opened. The camera peers inside of the eight foot by six foot room, a toilet attached to the back wall, and bunks on one side of the wall. A figure of a man lays on the top bunk hidden in the darkness. Slowly his feet dangle over the edge of the bunk. The man slowly sits up hunched over. A cigarettes amber glow lights his face. The face of “the Beast.”
Convict: Welcome to one of my kingdoms. My castle. I’m waiting Johnny, waiting for you to finally accept my god damn challenge. Waiting for you to realize that you made a drastic mistake. You took what belongs to me Johnny boy. You turned her against me.
Convict takes a slow drag from his cigarette and exhales the grayish smoke out.
Convict: I sent you a couple gifts Johnny, they should be arriving shortly, and I hope you enjoy them half as much as I enjoyed what it took to get them to you. You’re probably sitting in the VNB’s compound right now conversing with Jihad and Fade as to whether or not you should accept my challenge. Suck it up, be the man I know you can be and say yes. Say yes to the worst mistake you will ever make. See John I know you have new friends. I know all about Jihad and Fade…I know about Dark Halo…I know more about you then I should. I know that deep down in your soul Johnny you’re afraid…afraid that when you look into my ice cold blue eyes you see a bit of yourself…and it scares you. You think that you can end up like me Johnny boy. And you know that’s exactly what I fuckin want. It’s why I challenged you; I know you can’t hold out forever, the Children’s whispers grow louder by the day wondering if you’ll say yes.
Convict smiles a hideous grin, as he takes another drag from his Camel non-filtered cigarette.
Convict: Revenge Johnny that’s what this is…its fuckin revenge. You see Johnny if you don’t accept my terms, my conditions, more then Street will get hurt. The VNB won’t be able to help you inside of my castle Johnny boy. You’re Children of the night have no voices in my hallways. Here there is one authority figure and it’s not a man with a badge or a warden. It’s a Beast, a fuckin animal, who was discarded, and wronged against.
Convict hopes off of the top bunk revealing himself to the prison lights, a black one piece prison jumpsuit as his clothing, a simple number over his left breast pocket reads 666.
Convict: I see how you have the XVI in the palm of your hand Johnny; they all look at you as some type of God…a “Ruler of All” if you will.
Convict smiles at that last remark.
Convict: Sadly though Johnny boy…you don’t control me, you don’t rule over me. And that scares you; I can smell the stench of fear seeping from your pours when I’m near you Johnny. The quick look of concern in your eye. I read you like a book Johnny. And it fuckin disgusts me. It disgusts me that Makaveli bows down to you giving you your every damn desire. It sickens me to the core to see Poison succumb to your charisma. Disgusts me to know that she opens her legs and let you fuck her.
Convict walks out onto the catwalk in front of the cell, his hands rest on the ledge of it; his eyes peer out through a window in front of him.
Convict: Tell me Johnny boy, what it will feel like when I destroy everything you have, when I strip away your popularity. I took Ed away from you temporarily; I had a little talk with your mentor.
Convict turns his head and smiles
Convict: When you lose John, will your precious children leave you? Will Jihad realize the only mistake he ever made and drop you like a bad habit? There are things I have done Johnny, things I have done to you, things you won’t be able to forget. And it all rests upon your head, the crimes Johnny, rest upon your shoulders. I know you whispered in the ear of Poison or Makaveli and had them through Szaban my way. Just like you did to Calaz. But Johnny lightning struck once with Calaz…it won’t happen a second fuckin time with Szaban.
Convict turns and starts walking down the catwalk, his black combat boots echoing in the cell block.
Convict: By now it has to be sinking in Johnny that I won’t stop, till I have my fuckin revenge. I won’t rest until your debt to me has been repaid in full. Till all of the VNB and XVI is in there Sunday fuckin best attending your funeral. See Johnny boy if I have to go threw all of the VNB, the followers, Fade, Jihad, Trish, Dark Halo just to get my hands on you…I will, if that’s what it takes, me dismantling an empire that you didn’t build but were thrust upon its throne…I will. But you already know that don’t you.
Suddenly the doors to the cell block open up and inmates from the yard come into the cell block. They all stop in unison and gaze upon the Convict standing on the catwalk; he looks down upon them and smiles. Suddenly in unison like a well oiled military unit, the chants start louder then any XVI arena filled to the brims with fans.
Inmates: CONVICT! CONVICT! CONVICT! CONVICT! CONVICT! CONVICT!
There god looks down upon them and smiles. He raises a hand and instantly they are quiet.
Convict: Welcome to my world Johnny, my army, hope you survive the experience.
Suddenly the screen goes black, the XVI arena is deafly silent.
