Americans have to be more literal.. as in it's got to be seen to be funny

Where as in england we often find it funnier if things are subtle.. so to speak...

Ross Noble: I admit, I laughed a little bit, but the guy is just plum crazy mate.

The Best of Bottom: Big Jugs=The Best of Pottery….ingenius…some of their skits are lame, but there are a few gems in there.

Monty Python: I always have loved the randomness of Monty Python, but the fact that their women are all portrayed by men quite disturbs me.

The Office UK: Fell asleep when I tried watching this, I don’t need to sit through another 9 minutes of it on Youtube.

Bill Bailey: I suppose this is sophisticated humor? Because it went right over my pea brained head.

Now Team America:

Jeff Foxworthy: I’ve seen Jeff, and I know he can do much better than this a lot of the time. But if I am to judge by the clip given, I barely laughed. Barely.

Rodney Carrington: I think this may just be English misconception, but so far, your selection of American comedy is poor at best. I know we still got 2 to go, but still, if you wanted red neck country comedy, try Reba Macintyre. Other good American comedy examples could be Dave Chappell, Carlos Mencia, Both the Colbert Report and the Daily Show. Hell, anything on Comedy Central is American comedy that blows this stuff out of the water.

Office US: Once again, even at 56 seconds this is boring as hell.

Married With Children: I have to admit, I laughed quite a bit during this. But due to the selection given, UK wins this round. But like I said, the American selection of comedy was extremely poor.

Yep.. I know i don't have a shit sense of humor... Carrington and Noble are my favorite comedians.. Foxworthy pisses me off, Your office is wank... Dosen't compare to the english.. which i didn't really care for in the first place. Bottom is legend.. Bailey i only find funny sometimes... and married with children is amazing.

I tried to balance it out. With the ones i did like and the ones i didnt... Also with the amount of sit coms and stand ups for each.
